My constructive feedbacks.... feature the products in FRONT of the camera so that it's not a blurry afterthought in the background. Zooming in and being able to see the products closer would have been better. The ladies are nice too.

The new Smeg is currently at Williams Sonoma! the blue, pistachio, white etc. What does dialing it in mean?

Quality wise which one can we count on for lasting.

hmmm.. Hard to tell since the machines have been out for very different time lengths. The Breville has been around for years and years, the SMEG is brand new. Judging by the quality and build only, they should last around the same amount of time if taken care of.

You keep saying incorrect information about 54 vs 58 mm baskets. They hold the same about of coffee and 54 is deeper so that would have more even extraction with an untrained user. However both can achieve the same extraction and flavor when you dial in properly. Several professionals use 54/53mm portafilters in America and in Europe (especially in Italy it is very popular).

No weighing. No leveling before tamp. Uneven tamping. 11.50 mentioning not to dial in your shot? Just get a more basic unit then, why didn't 800 plus dollars if you gonna make sub par attempt in espresso.

This is some influencer level nonsense. Channeling and ultimately taste differences are negligible between straight tamping and using a WDT tool for 99% of coffee drinkers. This is just fluff designed to sell an overpriced tool.

GEzzzz the extraction is so terrible that in 6:34 didn't even try to focus in the pressure gauge (with no-expresso level extraction ) either is a terrible hardware or a cruel way to boost Breville sales
