I'm jamaican and your description of tobacco vanille is spot on I laughed so hard😂. It reminds me of christmas time because of the spices and the vanilla. I love it but the opening has a lot of tobacco but the dry down is amazing! I layer mine with lost cherry in the winter and the amount of compliments i receive is crazy!!

I just started getting back into perfumes. I used to love perfumes in my younger years, up until my 30s, and then when i had my son, i stopped purchasing designer perfumes, well, because kids expensive. Lol its been 9 years since no purchase of purfumes, and then i stumble up this video, and im like yessss, this girl i want to follow, she says it like it is. I enjoyed your video very much! ❤️ I have Afran Modest Deux . I didn’t know it was supposed to be a dupe of anything but it’s fun to find out. I really enjoy it. I just ordered the Ana Abiyedh Rouge Lattafa . I haven’t smelled BR 540 before but I was given In the Stars by BBW ,,which I love ,and I read that they smell similar. I’m planning on using them together. I hope I like it because it had a lot of bad reviews on Amazon but this review was encouraging. I own over 35 perfumes but none of them are high end or expensive. I don’t really spend a lot of money on my perfumes because I’m on a budget. I really appreciate these fun dupe videos. 😊

I hate dry , dusty, earthy patchouli which is in Awaan lattafa nd my burberry black. I can tolerate patchouli in modest duex . So pls tell me it will be helpful. ❤️

The tonka and cherry really cover it up. You get most of it in the first 5 minutes and then it slowly disappears. It's close to the type of patchouli in modest deux versus what you'd find in club de nuit for women which is super heavy on the patchouli

My favorite are l'aventure femme, club de nuit imperiale. Both are long lasting and beast. I like modest deux but not long last on my skin.

L'Aventure is just ok for me but I love the other Armaf fragrances. I enjoy Modest Deux so much but I definitely prefer the original

I totally agree with you! I was so confused because of how often it had been recommended to me as a dupe of AFH. I cut out a whole rant about how LAventure reminds me of an 80s white floral that's been slightly updated but not really. I sometimes wanna give hairspray and shoulder pads but not most of the time lol. I like it but I have to be in the mood. So not a dupe lol

I have a large bottle of Aventus for Her and the funny thing is from one genuine bottle to the next the resin/tartness ratio changes so much. I actually prefer a bit more resin but this bottle is very apple heavy even into dry down. Imperiale also is a miss on the fruits & opens WAY more citrusy than the original Delina Exclusif. However the drydown of Imperiale on fabric is so close to Delina Exclusif on skin. I use the real DE on my skin & boost the scent with Imperiale on my clothes because it’s such a bargain.

Yh Imperiale opens very tart. It was so much closer to Delina than Delina Exclusif, I was initially worried I wasn't going to get the dry down I wanted. But after more than a few wears Imperiale has become a fave for the price and the longevity. I hadn't realized Aventus was so different from one bottle to the next. When I tested L'Aventure next to the original, I couldn't understand how anybody would mistake the two. But your explanation makes sense.

This is why it's important to listen to more than one review. I have NEVER heard someone say Adventus for her dries down to a "rose" fragrance. I encourage ppl to listen to other reviews of Femme by Al Haramain.

I unreservedly disagree with literally every review that say they are alike. I have both and I wear both regularly and Femme is a far crisper, more chypre leaning fragrance than Aventus for Her. It reminds me of an early 2000s white floral. All power, very little nuance. I like it fine but Femme isn't a dupe of Aventus and I'm confused by all the people saying otherwise. I'm convinced one person said it was a dupe and it's spread based on hearsay. Cause ain't no way. Anyway. Clearly you think they smell alike. Good on you for that.

@@jeanique I know what you mean. The reason for the super price hike is because they want to differentiate themselves from the other designers in perfume. You know how not just anyone can walk into Hermes and get a Kelly or Birkin? They’re going for the Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Chanel exclusivity vibe. And the only way to do that is to hike the price up. The mentality is, if you can afford it then the 2 hour lasting power should be of no issue. Personally, I think all these designers need to be brought to their senses. Pay-per-view wrestling match with all the annoyed customers, last one standing in the fight wins. No holds barred and no you can’t hire someone to fight the match for you.

@@jeanique I think people would rather pay the price of a Tom Ford fragrance to see these matches than for the bottle of perfume. The experience would last longer. And truly thank GOD for Arabian houses. But there’s some indie brands too that are giving designers and niche a run for their money, with unique scent profiles. And they are reasonably priced according to some others.

totally agree on this BR 540 dupe, It is my favourite because of the femininity : it is not only airy-woody(not in a masculine way) but also seems to have a red fruit (berry?) note :) and there is fresh element and airyness , it lasts 2 days!

Which Club de Nuit is the dupe for Aventus for her?

A friend of mine had said that Club de Nuit Intense for women is a feminine leaning version of Creed Aventus rather than a faithful dupe of Creed Aventus for her but I havent tested it myself. There's also supposed to be a Rasasi perfume that's a dupe named Qasamat Rasana. The notes seem promising but I don't know if it'll be closed to Light Blue than Aventus for Her

I get that! I've bought a few rose duds in my day because not all types of rosey smells work for me. But this is a really fresh green rose especially once you get past the opening. It's nothing like Kayali Elixir or Chloe EDP that I have a hard time wearing on their own because of how old school and intense the rose is. It's like the rose you get in Lancome Idole or Ralph Lauren Romance but even fresher. The thing that I think will turn most people off is the heavy rhubarb note which is a love for me but most ppl can't stand it.

Haha that's how I justify alllll my blind buys. But it's so good I have no reservations recommending it to anybody who loves a fruity floral. It's pretty close to perfect.

Hi I got Armaf imperial and I love it so much I was over the moon the first time I tried it, but after 3 4 sprays it turned Alcohol literally all I got very strong alcohol, I gave it 10 days thinking that maybe it needs some time to set but nothing change 😢 is that normal?! Or something wrong with this patch ?!

I'm not getting alcohol from it at all. I just sprayed and ill report back and let u know if it changes after a few hours. Maybe I missed the alcohol smell?

I meant the juice in bottle turned into Alcohol,everytime I tried it after the first time I got only alcohol

Oh shit! I thought you meant the smelled turned on your skin after a time. Mine smells the same as when I first got it. That's terrible! You must have gotten a bad bottle.

I dont like tobacco vanilla either, at all...HOWEVER...when you have a perfume you think you dont like bc its too sweet, but if it was less sweet you might like it...a little tobacco vanilla will totally transform a teenage scent into an adult fun mature (not not granny) scent.

Tom Ford costs too much to be wearing off so quickly and Im not a fan of the Tom Ford Lost Cherry alone… It’s too light and I love my Cherry/Almond smells… The Tabasco Vanille smells nice BUT… Only for the fall.. I would probably only wear it October-December …. I love the Oakcha Miss Girl which is a dupe Bacarat + Lost Cherry mixed and it smells wonderful.

Ooo lost cherry plus baccarat? I gotta check that out. Cause I love both. And I agree with you about how light Lost Cherry is. I wish it projected more and lasted longer. Which is why I'll always stick to dupes. Just not worth it for me otherwise. I still can't get into Tobacco Vanille but I've come to be obsessed with Vanille Fatale which is similar vibe to me
