Tate is the best! He is based on a number of things I think. Kurt Cobain obviously. Then they used the Colombine Shooting. And if you listen to pumped up kicks, it's as if they wrote many of Tate's actions around the song! Rolled Cigarettes. Cowboy Boots he wears. "Your hair is on fire must a lost your wits" he lights his moms boyfriend on fire. Think about it. Tate is a walking mix of Homicidal Suicidal Angst!

@@arishahoney8210notice not one family member or close person to him say murder. In fact, when many heard he was dead they knew hed killed himself. His guns were removed by police not long before he did it. He had his friend get the gun right before he actually did it which was right after an Intervention and a less than 24hr stay in rehab... he relapsed got high as hell for a few days and ended his own life. Also door was locked from the inside and had a barstool propped under the handle.

I remember when tate said he like nirvana in the pilot and later asked violet in the actual show if she had any kurt cobain. Jimmy darling also sang come as you are by nirvana so I am 100% certain that Evan Peter's likes nirvana. This song fits so well.
