Just a few notable mentions..... Tifa : Grand Gloves give an amazing boost to Heal and Water Potency Lucia : Tranquilizer Gun gives an amazing boost to Heal + Ability Stance Potency Aerith : Guard Stick gives I believe the highest Heal boost at I wanna say 62 and Heal R Ability goes to 100 points instead of 55 and also provides a decent boost to Limit Break Potency %s .... I know healing wasn't a primary focus for the video but when you need a solid Heal any one of these three Weps can offer that extra edge and make a 2000 heal stat easily push closer to 2500+ while offering the extra utility that suits your builds best ...... Honorable mention Matt : The Rapier that does a single target high heal skill offers the largest so far boost for Magic Ability Stance % + at I believe 52 points or close .. also gives a nice MDEF boost if needed. This was great!! I think I'm going to max out physical damage, Fire, and Wind potency. Maybe ice. I have the costumes to strengthen that, too.

I went with sunbrella for aerith and tifas guide gloves for now, both are 110, and i'm gonna save the rest of the materials for now, feel like most of the times, 110 is more important than 120, because it gives the secondary R ability a boost, which is usually the one that is much harder to max out. getting 3 points of fire/ice/whatever potency is pretty huge. Like you said, getting 3 extra points in PATK might not change to much most of the time, because we allready max it out with 2 weapons. And barely any weapons will actually get high enough to where you can max out one stat with just a weapon and the costume. Also i wouldn't underestimate having an extra 90 base patk for going from 90 to 120 murasame. R abilities add huge multipliers, 55 PATK adds 50%, ATK adds 25%, the new party PATK can add another 15% you'll quickly add 150 or more patk by just going from 90 to 120.

I pretty much just started playing within the last month. I've been enjoying it so far! At the moment, I'm a f2p player and doing what I can. I don't really know anything about builds yet... I've honestly just been hitting the 'Recommended', though I know that's not very good.

That was me for a long time. If you keep at it, you'll eventually have enough weapons overboosted to put together a solid party. Recommended will help you get through a lot of the lighter stuff. When you hit the wall and reach the point where there's a stage you just barely lose, you'll start to see how much better team composition is. Those gradual improvements are what keep me playing.

As a Yuffer main, my first 120 is OB6 Arctic star, because I want her in my team always, and I use Cloud and Sephi the most beside her, sometimes Aerith when I need survivability and Tifa very rarely, I might be dropping Sephi for Aerith because Ive been having trouble with EX stages (final battles) of content, and summons I cant even beat. Oh thank god you said it was a great choice, I was getting worried. I must say, this is the type of content I love to see, its sooooo helpful, if you had the time to do team comps, man Id love to see that, but I do understand thats time consuming.

I took Guide Gloves to 120. It is OB6, and I have the Cowgirl outfit so it just made sense. I took Heavy Hausser to level 110 since it is my highest OB weapon at OB10+2 and is always a sub weapon for my DPS. I am also going to take Mad Minute to 110 since it has great R. Abilities and I always put it on either my main DPS or Sub-DPS. Everything else I'm leaving at 80-90 until more content comes out.

REMINDER FOR NEW PEOPLE TO THE GAME: Limit Break banners (the ones we currently have), their featured weapons can only be got in them. Same goes for collab banners. Normally in normal banners they'll introduce a weapon and then later down the line they get added to the regular pool

At least with LB banners, the weapons will return with each one, probably not the costumes though

@@k-tekno since you’re new and have that already, I’d go for it if you can build Glenn. To run a Cloud/Glenn/Healer against Double Summon content team the healer has to be really good, or you need the dexterity for manual, which I do not have, so I went all in :) you also have until 4/7 to decide as maybe Sephiroth or Zack is better for your account. I’m hoping to max Glenn, see what happens, but going all in on the next banner as well since the costume benefits stack. Being new your biggest problem will be materia to get the HP and Atk needed, but will come in time. I just got a 5* off a simple no materials added Triangle Sigil Ruin Blow. Materia is pure rng

@@justinf1751 yeah i have tifa glove which can heal aoe , but you mean i need to chase glenn costume ?? or better save for sepiroth and zack ? because on this video he say just get one each copy ... and the costume is must or not ?

@@k-tekno The weapon’s will come back in a few months when the next Limit Break draw happens after this is over, the costumes we are unsure of as they’ve never come back regardless of banner. So he’s correct about just needing what you have for the weapons. The good thing about deciding on Glenn’s costume if you can’t go for them all is that you’ll be able to see what Zack and Seph have to offer as whenever that one starts, it still ends on 4/7, same as Cloud/Glenn banner. Hope that helped, no need to jump the gun atm ^^

You can have each weapon on different people and get 28% total cause it doesn’t combine unless it’s on one person so you get 2 level 3 patk all r.abilities

Hmmm Aerith’s Fairy Tale weapon was the first weapon I did to max to 120 so I can boost her curaga, but I’m curious to see the boost the Buster Sword can get once it’s first overboosted and then 120

Cool, the only weapon I've upgraded so far is Murasame... at least it was only up to lv110 since I still don't have 10 Mythril Ingots. Man, every time I start to feel like I got a good grasp on the game I come back here to remind myself I still have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to party building or choosing which weapons to upgrade. Maybe the problem is: I don't feel confident putting all of my resources into very few builds (such as PATK Lightning Cloud, MATK Ice Seph, etc) because each boss/event requires a different build. For example... what if the next super boss is weak to Lightning magic damage? Neither of the builds I mentioned would do it for me. So how do you guys who are F2P or very light spenders (such as myself) manage to clear so many varied content while focusing in only a handful of builds?

the damage you get for focusing on 1 build is enough to clear most content. I use a ob10 murasame cloud with yuffie and aerith. You can clear most content with this but it isnt easy and at the back of your mind youll always be thinking 'if i had x element this would be so easy'. Also materia rng sucks and party equip screen is a slog.

@@lucastsenthis is why I want to be able to copy and paste parties. I’ve even sent it to the devs. It’s so easy to implement. When your hands have limited usage, preparing for anything difficult takes forever

If you focused on three characters and specific weapons, you’ll crush some events while others may be fairly difficult. But if you don’t focus on three characters, you won’t crush any event and almost everything will be fairly difficult. This is what I experienced until I changed my account to focus on specific things.

I went with an OB20 Stream Saber as I have the costume and at 120 it’s insane. Not really sure what to use for another, either Glenn’s event weopon as I have the costume and it’s OB20, or I’m heavily leaning towards that Cloud Fire Sword or whatnot from the event that was easily OB20’d for free and I have the costume. I am severely lacking in 5* materia, only 2, and the 5* Synth Catalysts are all gone so making a guaranteed 3* is impossible atm. Awesome vid for everyone I’m sure ^^

@@Courtannica I went all in on Cloud and Glenn as they as so powerful and having an easier auto team really helps when you’re disabled. Even at OB20 anything, you still need to follow the strategies for EX battles. Everything else just melts away, reducing the severe anxiety I also have lol

Imma have to rewatch this video a bunch of times cause I'm still kinda confused on what to go for lol. But im not worrying about leveling a weapon to 120 yet while I'm still trying to upgrade my weapons to 80 and 90. I can't explain it, but my brain is just not gripping the concept on what to work on atm to power up my characters.

The first shop in event offer the 1 gold wheel x10 gil and 999 stacks...... Great way to farm some extra gil if need be and you're maxed out in the event shop!

6:00 can't you level up your main weapon to 90, and ditch the crystal sword for a Patk + physical ability dmg weapon ? Sure you lose 2-3 levels of fire abilities but you gain 2 level of Patk back and 2-3 level of phy atk ability. So you lose 15-20% element dmg but gain back those in 15-20% phy ability + an extra 200-300 Physical attack boost. Seems worth it to me.

I just pulled for glen 30k I got 3 of his weapons since I saw that the other banner was Zack fire and Sephiroth wind or normal which I don't need water arcanum is new so it has more potential I also got 2 copies of clouds weapon so I have a bad ass glen

For me the limit break weapon was the no brainer choice because 1) cloud is always in the party anyway 2) even just one copy of the sword at 120 is a big difference 3) doesn’t have to be main hand it still does a lot… it might be wise to hold off on the other resources for another no brainer 120 though that’s what my gut says because dupes come slowly when you least expect

Geez how the hell have do you have so many 5* materia? I've been playing since day one... and despite constantly making 3*+ guaranteed materias... TENS OF THOUSANDS OF MATERIAS... I've never gotten a 5* materia ONCE... EVER... my luck is just THAT bad in this game...

Every banner resets nothing carries over. But it doesn't reset while it's still there.

The big damage weaps for me for sure, cause the stats are there. R ability can be made up eventually as we max out other weapons stars. Ahhh! To each their own haha OR… we hoard the ingots and we’ll see haha. 110 is easy, 120 we can only do like 1 or 2 at a time for free, otherwise p2w it haha

yep, they are seperate buffs but "stackable", so in *Coop all weapons like that will boost party same buff but seperately

@@gamerf2p843 So for example if i put cloud weapon in the main hand Lv5 will get 18% to all allies + if i put Glens weapon in a sub weapon to other character i will get 14% to all allies? Thanks!

@@peterleyvabazan1519 u will get both buffs applied to all characters, thats why these ani weapons are broken so will get 18% atk (party all) and also 14% atk (party all)

You can put it in the wishlist and also it's in the ticket and daily free pools. I woudn't focus on murasame though it's good weapon but they the newer weapon are better
