I was on vacation when the game launched and I find myself trying to catch up, so far I'm not doing too bad but it's been quite the race. Your videos are certainly helpful when it comes to prioritizing and figuring out what's needed or less. Also appreciate that you're a free to play and not gloating too much like other content creators. I'm currently in the process of getting that Umbrella up as much as I can while trying to be efficient.

holy freaking stamina tonics, they were already giving out a pretty healthy amount of stamina so 160 tonics on top of that is insane. An absolutely perfect time for you to drop a guide on stamina too, so thanks for the advice

Something I like to point out that helped me figure out what I need to work on my characters was by doing the harder quest, by seeing how my characters do in the 20-40K PWR + quests it gives me a good indication on what my characters need work on whether it be a couple enhancements from weapons, or just a lil more pieces for growth.

I know this is a whale question, however I do want to ask. How many Refills can you do a day in stamina with crystals? and the pricing. I know so far that is 50 50 100 100 100 then 200 but I haven't gone beyond that but I'm trying to save gems, but I do want the knowledge once the stamina pots run out. :)

My problem is it is very hard for me to find co-op matches. Probably because it is region locked? I am from India and we generally get matched with SEA players. The game isn't available for other SEA countries.

The XP difference between, say, 35 and 40 is very small compared to the difference between 45 and 50. The power difference is much more similar. Power from early, cheap levels is energy efficient. Get power to do things now. Use XP training. Saving the power from XP for later is a false economy.

What are your thoughts on "retrying" levels until you get cactuar encounters? Does the probability for enhanced rewards justify the minor stamina loss for every retry???

I’ve tried this and I think there’s some sort of failsafe that prevents R.Enemy encounters after retiring as I retired and re-did the last Exp mission 50 times in a row and saw no Cactuars whereas I normally see them about 1 in 10, might’ve just been bad luck though. Let me know if you see Metal Cactuars after Retiring

I have stamina boosts in my gift box. I cant accept them because inventory is full. Can i let them stack up in my inbox? Or do they drop off after a certain number of days? Also, does it work like dffoo? If you use 1 boost and then accept all in my inbox, it tops off my inventory by adding 1, and then the other 9 are lost?

They last forever as it seems ATM. The whole amount is accepted at once not individually.

Definitely dumped like 50 Stam pots on EXP missions. I don't really regret it, but I agree it's a trap.

Have they modified the cactuar drop rates on retire? I was trying yesterday and wasted about 40-50 stamina across 3 different tries of retiring for a cactus and never got it to pop up once that way.

I wonder if they shadow patched the retire strategy for cactuars, I got 0 cactuar in 30 reset this morning. Could be bad RNG tho

I disagree, I would go hard on the exp farm till level 47 because of the harder content. Every level up in the 45 range is a huge level spike. Preferably, three level 50 as a main team. If you keep thinking about the long run, you’re just handicapping yourself current term. Also you are forgetting that 50 is not the level cap, in the future it will be 60 or even 70, imagine how long it would take to accumulate the exp naturally.

Same, exp is the first things to do. In less time than this guy, already got 100k and working on all characters too. After done exp Is just grinding for materia/weapons (early/mid game ez but as gacha game in end game need good equip and this need time of no pay like me.)

⁠@@luvdaviolenceI’m f2p as well, just broke past 110k and the missions are quite literally auto able because tbh, they give you a lot of stamina potions, so my weapons are done, there are still many harder missions left though but man this game is really awesome for f2p

I just set up an autoclick to retry the free character exp continuously and let it do its thing all night. Free levels.

@@Disoulsound88 over night usually nets people 1 and a bit to a 2nd level atleast from what I know but the grind from 40-50 is insane expect atleast 1 level from that grind of autoclick

I wasted so much stamina on character exp... I regret it. Yeah, I was able to get 3 character to lvl45 by doing this...but my materials are extremely lacking... I wish I saw this before. Oh well. We learn from our mistakes.

The stamina gated is a huge let down. They could have increased the grind time but take away the stamina system

I get where you’re coming from but it’s a gacha at the end of the day. Name a gacha that doesn’t have some sort of “stamina“ system… 🤔 it just is what it is

If there isn’t a stopping point for the grind, that would be really unhealthy for the playerbase because a lot of people cannot stop grinding

Not at all. DFFOO doing well. We will reach the point where we have nothing much to grind. Then we can take the time to do other stuffs or play other gam’s simultaneously

@@T.O.Wallee right but those games still have stamina. My first gacha was Granblue Fantasy and they throw stamina potions at you so there isn't much of a problem either but it's still a thing is all I'm saying. I'm thinking (hoping) with time it'll be better I think it's just b/c the game is new.

finally someone stated that char exp stamina is a waste. ive beent telling people about it being a waste and they retort back that they want to be 50 fast. other youtube people been advicing people to do it.

It’s best to at least get your main team to level 50, if you are worry about wasted stamina, keep in mind that level 60 is confirmed so accumulating exp naturally will take forever

@@StopToBreathe sure getting them to 50 is fine, but like i said and what octopus is saying wasting stamina on char exp and complaining there is not enough stamina given by square is so stupid. Im saying to use it on better things like materia, summon or enhance equippment and coop. using macro and grinding for 12+ hours is more efficient but to each their own if thats what you wanna do then go for it. just dont go complaining later that there is not enough stamina pot in the game when clearly it was wasted in those grind ealier to get to 50 fast.

Honestly get the main team to 45 atheist. I went to 50 with my main squad to make farming much quicker and easier overall. The "wasted" Stamina is a non issue in a game that wants to last years.

Yeah crew don’t waste your stamina on leveling up. Just set your computer up and let some program that presses your screen and let it just keep spamming the free exp till you are levelled and then make a video talking down to everyone like you just got to that level naturally. Didn’t appreciate this video and how fking condescending it comes off.

You can use stamina for levelling if you want to level up faster. Nothing wrong with it. You can clear harder stages easier and farm better resources than wasting stamina on lower stages. I have been farming the free stages and it took a long time to even level up.
