SMERALDO
A tragic tale of a lonely gardener, who lives in solitude in an abandoned castle, and a poor girl whose only way to survival is stealing the mans flowers. He becomes unwillingly fascinated by the girl, but can’t find a way to truly express himself due to his fear of her being disappointed upon seeing his ‘ugly’ face. He works hard creating a new flower for her to show his compassion, but he must overcome his fears first.
This is my short film for Uni! it is a retelling of the story of the Smeraldo Flower, or the Truth Untold. I hope you enjoy!!
