According to my interpretation of the multiverse and timelines, whatever any life form thinks of, already exists as it's own universe, or, if similar enough to enough other universes, as a sub-universe within a clusterverse. This means that Kevin's fondness over Isabelle, combined with the Doomguy + Isabelle meme, on top of the fact that in a previous episode, a lore drop happened where Shroomy was the victim of the bite of '87, causing his inner demon slayer to be suppressed unless in the presence of something strongly linked to that past, like demons, where his past form will reawaken, sort of like a Dark Sonic situation. All of these elements, Doomguy no longer liking Shroomy because his bite made him incapable of demon hunting, the popular Doomguy teaches Isabelle about guns, and Kevin more than likely sneaking Isabelle into the plot, is probably what caused all of this.

Look through the lore of RE8. They aren't Lady D's actual BIOLOGICAL daughters, they are actually just experiments who were former workers in the mansion. Edit: Forgot to put the word biological in between the words actual and daughters, this edit fixed that mistake.
