doge is an internet meme that became popular in 2013. the meme typically consists of a picture of kabosu, a shiba inu dog accompanied by multicolored text in comic sans font in the foreground. the text, representing a kind of internal monologue, is deliberately written in a form of broken english.
the meme is based on a 2010 photograph, and became popular in late 2013, being named as know your meme's "top meme" of that year. the shiba inu had a notable presence in popular culture in late 2013, including a cryptocurrency based on doge, the dogecoin, launching in december of that year. several online polls and media outlets recognized doge as one of the best internet memes of the 2010s.
the smile dog is the titular main antagonist of the creepypasta story smile.jpg. he is a supernatural entity that haunts the lives of any who see his face, driving them to insanity.

Great battle, Doge won. SO the problem with Smile dog is all he did was brag in his second verse from what I could tell. Maybe a diss or two and the only other diss I saw was that Doge was a dead meme(and the grandma one which was mid.) I had no idea who smiling dog was so the killed most of his disses. Pair that with god tier diss and raps, he barely moved from the start when doge hit the finish line.
