Goodness, I love this movie so much. Another thing we can't deny is that Miyuki is always... ULTRA HAPPY.

Anyway, this is currently my favorite Pretty Cure movie. Formally, the gripe I had with it is how it’s supposed fits within the Smile continuity since it’s supposed to be canon and possibly retconning a really great episode. Thank you so much for elaborating how both this movie and ep 44 of the series fit in Miyuki’s childhood and I love the analysis you gave on the character since it pretty much one of the many reasons why she’s one of my favorite Pretty Cures of all time. From the reason she cherished happiness so much into the fact she’s just an innocent and endearing character overall. I’ll never get tired of the future’s sparkling light smile. And with that, the final chapter of Smile has come to an end. Kudos for the Paper Mario reference. I thought I was the only one who compared the Dark Cinderella to Shadow Peach.

Poor Nico! She have no friends despite living in a fantasyland full of likable characters. She was alone and the big bad too. He probably saw an opportunity and made a deal with her saying '' You can take revenge on Miyuki, she boke her promise! I would never do that, i'm your friend Nico. Help me to trick the Precures and we'll be friends forever. '' or something similar. The lonely child believed him but regret it at the end, saw how honest and kind Miyuki is. Trust and friendship are good lessons :) This movie used thoses terms well.

You know, Something is telling that with a Evil Little girl in some of these movies, One of the days we're gonna get a Pretty Cure Movie that's taking from Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.

How many PreCure pinks till now had to learn the lesson "You can't help everyone. " - Nagisa, Nozomi, Haruka, Mirai, Ichika and Hikaru for sure didn't have such an arc. - To this day I don't know if Love was intended to go through that, some reviewers said she did...? - Mana had that but it was "you can't help everyone" in the sense you'll wreck yourself in the process. - Megumi... I think was supposed to have that. Hers was more "you can't help everyone" because sometimes you end up just being a busybody or a bother. - Hana also had that but it was resolved way too quickly and never left a strong impression. Her take on that was "You can't help everyone" because that might cause trouble for you. You know, because she stood up to bullies and then got bullied herself. Shame, it would have been a nice comment on the ijime phenomenon and the Japanese group mentality on which I wrote a report in university.

This is actually one of my all time Favorite movies and actually took inspiration from Nico and Miyuki the same way as Miyuki did from Diana and Nico.

Don't worry, I'm a 90's kid too and not only am I big fan of that va but I've also met the dub vas for two of her roles. Jessie's second dub va and the one & only Lisa Ortiz. Unfortunately I couldn't find my Slayers Try set till after the con (as Lina Inverse is my favorite of Ortiz's roles) so I brought the cover to one of my Sonic X sets as she voices Amy Rose in that and she's my favorite STH character.

ArenZone, don't feel bad about your age and watching Precure. I got hooked on it when I discovered Yes! Precure 5. Been watching Precure, every season that is made up until now (and will also watch delicious party pretty cure when it debuts), and right now I am currently 44 years old I will be turning 45. And if there's anybody got anything to say about it I don't really F***ing care. I just assumed they be cold-hearted bricks. But then I'll tell him about it and they watch it and then they understand.

Just mentioning but Demon King's seiyuu is the same one of Kintaros from Den-o. Also Miyuki's daddy is voiced by the same Momotaros seiyuu. Smile precure has indeed a lot of Den-o Vibes XD

I can think of a way to write these movies WITHOUT the stupid Miracle Lights . If the children in Digimon can create evolutions through realizing something , why can't Precure ?

You've given me a few things to think about regarding this movie! I've always liked it, but I didn't cotton on to the development it gave Miyuki's friends (the benefits to Miyuki herself are easy to see and very welcome). Also, let's not forget: Nao picked her story so she could eat all of the food in the Dragon Palace! Truly the best of motivations.

I mean Smile Precure uses a lot of crossover honestly because this season is about storybooks you see?

when comparing foes, crowsington ( the demon king ) is vastly inferior to ODIO ( the undying hate ), with odio as a precure villain, he could gather those fiends dangerous, beasts lurking from worlds other than this or his, torment the precure with the malice of hate, corrupt those suffering, create an army, and force a stale condition to his foes, the ox king and the remnants of the precure world, contact the king of dream land, who gives them a key advice "only those virtuous seven, the archon of hate undying defeat him can" so the quest to awaken the seven heroes goes, with the new formed black knights chasing our heroes. that's my idea

This is actually one of the greater Precure films, it does so many things right and it fixes the flaws of the main story. Definitely worth watching even if you don't really like Smile. Now we get into my least favorite of the Precure Cross over films, and we get to meet the debut of an echo.

I never watched this before

I really adore this movie. I love how much it benefited Miyuki’s character. We were introduced to the idea that Miyuki didn’t quite feel satisfied enough with the happiness she gives to others, that being evident in episode 15, where Miyuki tries her best to make her mother happy during Mothers Day only to break down by the end of the episode thinking that all her attempts were awful and didn’t help, but having over an hour long focus on that flaw definitely helped
