5:00 am I the only one who thinks it's sweet that Catnap chose her favorite food? Yes, she said that when Catnap was around, but she says the names of a lot of foods, so the fact that he had the attention to remember which one was actually her favorite says a lot.

Yknow,between getting scarred for life by a prank, missing out on almost the entirety of episode two, and nearly getting eaten by one of his “friends” I’d say Kickin’ has had it the worst out of everyone so far. I wouldn’t be surprised if he just reaches a breaking point.

CatNap really brings a trickster god spirit to the show. He lets Picky experience that crazy workout, which gets her to decide to follow a different routine she sets up for herself, and he lets Hoppy and Kickin experience enough fear to regret putting their friend through that. Hoppy needs a little more "omph" to her punishment for it to stick

You can't prove me wrong: CatNap is the best character in this series. He silently supports all his friends(Doggy Down), observes how they go about their day, and keeps an eye out for potential issues(Leg Day and Hog Wild). Not only that, but he helps out in the background by eliminating all the traces of "The Hour" (Doggy Down) and even disciplines the critters when they do something wrong(Leg Day). The craziest thing: so far it seems that none of the critters realize this. In Doggy Down, one of the critters points out that it was "a little early" for CatNap to show up. This could imply that CatNap only really shows up at night to help them sleep, otherwise, he doesn't show up at all during the day. While they aren't opposed to the cat, they always seem surprised to see him AWAKE in the daytime (Hog Wild pt 1- he was there in plain sight, but they didn't mind him because he was sleeping). They also didn't seem to notice him in Leg Day until he appeared before them to punish Hoppy for hurting Kickin's feelings. When he was there, they all seemed to freeze in shock before Hoppy snapped at him.

3:44 Picky during the hour of joy be like:

1st episode: CatNap broke Hoppy’s leg because she cheated and broke Kickin’s sport spirit. 2nd episode: CatNap took care of a sick DogDay. 3rd episode: CatNap gave a starved Picky her favorite sandwich.

I feel like Kickin would benefit from NOT hanging around Hoppy for a while, considering all she puts him through and the shenanigans that traumatize him😂 plus I feel like Kickin's workout routine would have been less intense. I also love the cut of Bobby and DogDay acknowledging there is mess happening and not doing anything about it, and I love how CatNap just followed Picky just to shove her favorite snack in her mouth to calm her down; a true, thoughtful friend😁💜

4:57 I love how when catnap appears or dissappears, the screen gets a little distorted and glitchy like at the end of episode 1. I kinda have a theory that there's something mysterious going on with catnap and he wants to keep it a secret to protect his friends and not creep them out to not wanting to be his friend anymore. (This is just a random theory i came up with and it probably will mean nothing but it doesn't hurt to try lol)

"Okay, I'll bite...what's going on out there, Bobby?" "Well, it looks like Kickin and Hoppy are being chased by Picky. And she's got this CRAZY look in her eyes." "Huh, I'm getting the oddest sense of deja-vu..."

Ok. I have a theory. What if Catnap is purposefully trying to prevent the critters from turning into their bigger body selves. Like- this is some kind of simulation business meant to emulate the cartoon but every so often parts of the real world start to leak in (Crafty’s drawing in Doggy Down, the signs in Doggy Down, and Picky’s whole thing in this episode) and who’s there to get things back to the status quo before anyone notices? Catnap. He’s the one who takes down and replaces the signs, he helps Picky not eat her friends it’s implied she did in the real world, etc. It would also explain why he’s always lurking in the background, he’s trying to make sure the other critters don’t realize their reality and/or go crazy. And I think this has always been the case (though his methods are sometimes flawed) for example, I think he purposefully broke Hoppy’s leg to bring down her confidence and make her more careful (it’s implied that Bigger Body Hoppy died from jumping to a point she couldn’t reach ie overconfidence)

I love the dynamic of Catnap on the episodes. Bro shows up,undoes the the bomb the crew made and leaves without saying a word.

I've already commented once but I have to make another. This is my 2nd time watching, 8 hours later, and I JUST NOW noticed that Hoppy gets buff for a second at 2:20. It caught me COMPLETELY off guard and caused air to shoot out of my lungs super hard. This is why I keep saying that Hoppy is the best smiling critter.

Holy smokes, I am SUPER impressed. The animation gets smoother every episode, and it's just so nice to watch! Like, I'm literally flabbergasted that it was just small drawings for a few episodes, to full blown, fluid animation. The wait for this was 100% worth it. Also, poor Crafty. :c

This was definitely worth the wait! Kickin being supportive towards Picky, Hoppy being too excited and taking the routine to the extreme is so in character for her. I was a bit surprised that Picky wanted to bite them but now that i think about it, it makes sense due to the game’s lore. Catnap still being a good friend in his own way. Happy that Bobby is taking care of Dogday still. Poor Crafty though, waiting for anyone to come back and no one did. Overall, I loved this! ^^ thanks Gem for making this!

Men, the jump in quality is astounding. Like, just comparing the amount of different poses and expressions on Hoppy's face during her little drilling, to episode 2 where Bobby half the time was speaking to her hand shows how much progress was made in the meantime. Your content is amazing!

The thing I'm most impressed by is the animation quality. It was already great but I was expecting the animatic-type animation of stills and simple animations. I thought the couple of teaser clips were just well polished bits, but the sheer quality of the animation throughy, all for a fan animation, is just hats off, Gemstin. You've made something to be proud of.

Honestly, I love these fan shorts, and Picky Piggy losing her mind is the highlight in which had me laughing. Still, I feel bad for her, and to be fair, Hoppy and Kickin had good intentions but went about it all the wrong way by going too hard.

Is no one talking about the small oink sounds Picky made while she was crazy laughing? That was somewhat cute despite the fact that she was literally losing her mind 😅😂. Also the entire trio that was originally eaten by Picky in the game were nearly all together just replace Hoppy with Crafty.

I absolutely LOVE IT when characters break/go over their limit and you absolutely NAILED IT from 3:22-4:58!! You ate those scenes up!!!

Seriously, I am just blown away by how improved and even more high quality the animation is here. I loooove the like bouncy effect when their poses changes and when they move in general, it looks soso smooth. Like look at the end, when Hoppy changes her expressions her lil like cheek fluff bounces with her. That's so good! All the little details in this were just more proof of how much care you put into these, like I didnt even notice this until my third watch but Hoppy gets super buff for like 2 frames hahaha abs and all. Explains why she could lift those weights like that, she moves around a lot too so makes sense that she's really in shape. I was worried about Picky's safety but then it turned into me worrying about Hoppy and Kickin's safety pffft. This is the last time either of them are gonna be in charge of anything for sure. Aweee DogDay's getting better and Bobby made him some tea! Nice little mom and dad moment hah, that part was so adorable. I see you Gem with these DogDayxBobby moments heh. And CatNap to the rescue with Picky's favorite food! Awe the fact that he remembered what her fav food was shows he really does care about all of em despite his rather mysterious nature. That ending though, Craftyyyyyy!! Man I would've totally sat down there and kept her company if I could aaaack. Why do they all forget heeeer and by someone who's supposed to have a good memory no less. She looks so done though haha, least she drew some stuff to keep her somewhat entertained. Awe dude, maybe that will tie into some of her episode. Like she was neglected by everyone here, forgotten about and everything. But like my plot prediction of her episode, she'll see Pally as a true friend and one that'll stick with her no matter what. I bet even when they're cleaning DogDay's attic, some of them like Kickin or Bubba accidentally just brush her aside or something and it just builds up that grudge against them all the more. Well I'm super excited for the next one and this was another swell episode! Definitely got some laughs out of me hah, keep up the awesome work Gem! ^^

I observe works like these now and then- I'm still amused that my affinity of horror games brings me to places like this. Endearing, with the right amount of the dark edge, serving to remind in all the right ways that despite the colorful motif, these ARE from a horror game, even if a mild / moderate horror game. And good grief, there were WAY more inbetween frames than what one might have anticipated; you didn't have to go that hard. It would've all looked fine with the amount of frames shown in previous animations. But you went with it, it payed off well. The hard work is blatant here, the movements look great, and I sincerely hope you feel gratified for it all.

I like how the bubba, kickin and hoppy are the victims in this episode since they're probably the ones that got eaten by picky in the canon. I also love how the cartoon highlights sum stuff thats from the canon! (In Leg day, it shows at the end that CatNap broke Hoppy's leg at the end which could possibly be the reason why she didn't "get to the moon", In Doggy down where crafty shows dogday her art which shows mini versions of the smiling critters and then there's dogday who looks like his bigger body vers, and lastly there's Picky's starvation and the fact she doesn't remember what happened after it in this episode.)
