I totally agree with you about streetlamps, Shinichi! They do add to a city's ambience. And, the streetlamps in Nagoya are particularly charming! Thanks for the cozy night walk. Every time you visit Nagoya there are always hidden treasures waiting to be explored. Your final destination on the top of the bus terminal, worth the exercise but the views were absolutely stunning Shinichi.

I never been to Nagoya, only passed through it with the train, but my professor that I was assigned to when writing my thesis always spoke fondly on Nagoya as he spend a year there.

We were there in November 2019 - so nice to see familiar places on your walk. It's a great city, very pleasant to walk around and with lots to see. A good stopover in between Tokyo and Kyoto and a good connector to the Nagano region. We stayed in a lovely place called Lamplight Books Hotel - highly recommend it if you want a change from the Hilton. Very modern and quirky with beautiful rooms overlooking a nice park.

I visited Nagoya last year and stumbled upon the BMX Freestyle Japan Cup being held in the wide open area of that bus station. But it never ocurred to me that I could go up to the top of that structure! I'm gonna have to go back on my next trip. Thank you for the video.
