When I read about his patch of stealth grass in the update notes I thought it sounds like a worse Nu Wa cloud, but now I know it persists for a really long time I can definitely see it being a really valuable tool.

its gonna be really annoying to face, those duels where youre just 1v1 side stepping, being invisiable is such a huge advantage

His kit looks fun and that Grass will make or break decent to good users. Getting Kog from LOL vibes for sure (Mainly the way his ranged attack works and the ooze trail that slows) I have a feeling upon release he will be very OP. Smite unlike League doesn't have many characters that have DoT moves let alone a character that can spam them. The entire time I was still expecting some kind of early April fools ability to pop up.

The name is actually how Manticore was spelt at first then it got changed to what we see it now a day. Also even though all characters in Smite are fictional, but they have literature behind their character. This guy how ever has no literature behind the name meaning Hi-Rez created this Character.

There is some speculation that she will be the final god of the year, especially with her noted change of dialogue in the S10 god teaser video. It wouldn't be that outlandish as we are getting fire giant, manticore, etc. :)

So happy with all the recent monster gods, breath of fresh air. This is a complaint I've had with LoL for awhile, they only release humanoid champions nowadays. Happy smite isn't stuck with that.

Also, since this is the Season of Monsters, would like to see a Godzilla/MonsterVerse Battle Pass (my guess: Sobek: Godzilla, Thor: King Kong, Jing Wei: Mothra, Camazotz: Rodan, Cerberus: King Ghidorah, Serqet: Mechagodzilla).

There is some some speculation that she could be Nut. The lore lady is covered in stars and constellations, which is a notable feature of Nut. It would fit season 10's nostalgia theme as Nut is a long requested god and the lore lady has a lot of history in smite.

Overall good design, looking forward to play him. 3rd ability looks a little underwhelming. A long glide (not above walls tough) where he land in high grass would have been nicer imo.

I would agree. Except from the look of this. Stalk prey's grass seem to be permanent and persist past previous deaths. Which, if so. Means you could place grass patches all over the map that allies can use for later ambushes.
