Yeah it needs to be added to. When it was released it was nerfed so they could just sit in the wall for 10+ seconds. Bs tbh. They need to have it set at a percentage of your max HP.

@@Getsugaru In Irish mythology, the ones that spawned the myths of the banshee in the first place, they're the mourners, but to hear one is a bad omen. Their cries mean someone you know is dead, hence being only perceivable to them only.

@@brynion2117 Almost all of the gods have some theme or connection to their original mythological source though. HiRez saw Cliodhna and was like "Hehe, Banshee go 'Screech'!" and nothing more. Wedding Dress Thor is still my favorite lore skin... lmao

@@brynion2117 She Screams, She Jumps and Claws, She Goes invisible to targets she hits with her 3, and she calls forth Banshee ghosts from a rift... How exactly does this assassin set reference any of her aspect of a deity? You know, the healer love goddess of beauty and protection? 1) Banshees keen, they do not scream. Their keening does NOT hurt you, it is only a forewarning. 2) Banshee (Bean Sidhe) are NOT ghosts, they are Faeries. Representing them as Ghosts is a disrespect to their mythos. 3) If she DOES have lore associated to her that I missed, please give it instead of just saying a blank statement without examples. I'd love to see at least a sliver of lore attached to her as she is one of my favorite Celtic deities and I'd like to play her more than "spooky ghost lady that screams" like how most people view and depict (incorrectly) the Banshee on modern media.

@@williamyuen7335 Yeah that was part of the problem for me too, I'd get sucked in when I know half the time I'd get matched up with extremely toxic people that ruin it all. It's like flipping a coin, heads for a good game or tails for a toxic game.

the matchmaking is perfect (most of the time), there's just not enough players for it to work as it should (Solution: play more games, convince your friends and family to play, start the smite fever)

I remember the first time I played Fable 2 and getting to Wraithmarsh. At the time, I was young and the whole place terrified me, made worse the the Banshee's who to me, live up to their build up as a nightmarish enemy, fitting with the land they inhabited. I feel you've captured the same essence with Cliodhna (as best as a multiplayer game can to capture the same terror feeling) and I love her!

I saw the title of the video and thought "Oh cool! A Celtic Healer/Support! Maybe she'll get an ability that grants vision of enemies to her allies so that they are aware of ganks, and another that provides a shield when an ally would take lethal damage allowing them a moment to disengage or to finish the fight before they die; that'll be cool." Instead, they made her an assassin who focuses on DPS instead of team support. Cool gameplay, but it just feels off a bit to have her dealing damage instead of healing (I mean, she could have had birds that heal you with birdsong!)... An interesting approach, to be sure, just not the direction I'd have thought to take her in. Looking forward to when they eventually bring in Lugh, Balor, Queen Medb, and - if not connected to Queen Medb - Finnbhennach and Donn Cuailnge (who are known to have taken the forms of incredibly fertile stud bulls). It may not be how I would prefer, but I am glad they're adding more Celtic divinity to their tales. Also, Ishtar and Ereshkigal when? : P

So just a heads up, she is NOT unhittable in a wall. Attacks that go through walls (such as anubis' Foul Breath & Sexy Bedtime Eyes) seem to be able to damage and kill her. Source: caught a banshee with bad breath right after she walked into the wall. Nothing will save you from the lord of the dead. Nothing.

Technically I’m related to her lol I discovered my family name “O’Keeffe” (O’Caoim) goes back to an old Irish clan who ruled over the Kingdom of Munster, Ireland, from the 6th to 9th centuries. The family claimed to be descended from the goddess Clíodhna, the Fairy Queen, who married a chieftain Caomh (O’Keeffe)

Will deafen be impactful enough to be considered a CC? Audio coordination usually comes with trying to prepare for anything bad that will happen. But given they're deafening you with a shriek, I imagine you don't need audio to see what's happening at that point. Perhaps if deafen made it feel like you lost communication by taking away your sight of allied units, treating your vision on them like enemy units for the duration.
