its alluminum though so idk how they justify charging $300 more for alluminum as if its some precious expensive metal

Glad they changed the internals, gives them an excuse not to just sell the frame by itself for the millions of m&p owners out there.

I had a 1.0 and have since upgraded to a 2.0 chambered in 40S&W. I can reliably get my slide to drop from slidelock with magazine insertion. I always thought that was a feature. It's quite useful in my competition shoots. 🤷‍♂️

🤔 I cant help to think Barry would of loved that m&p metal pistol. Its a fantastic shooter, and beautiful gun. 😍 Just a nice pistol.

Thank goodness they finally fixed the triggers. I remember the one on my 40ve. Probably why I haven’t revisited s&w for years..The shield plus now finally is a amazing firearm.
