Black Tail being accepted by the pack was like winning the lottery. He went from barely making it, to a member of the strongest pack in the park.

Blacktail finding a home was good to see and the Quad mom cubs making it to spring. I think this is the first time I have heard Bill Pullman narrate a documentary, his voice seems to be fitting for covering nature & Yellowstone Park.

True... BUT they - like every other animal - need to be regulated by man to keep their numbers from getting out of hand. Hunting takes care to remove the surplus without letting them create havoc with prey animals. An example is the wolf population in Minnesota. Every scientific study as well as experts in wolf studies determined that there could be UP TO 1700 wolves in any peak year. We now have 2700 (conservatively estimated) and the deer herds in NW Minnesota are nearly wiped out.

Thank God we finally have the sense to reintroduce the Grizzly and the Great North American gray wolves. I had the great opportunity of seeing a grizzly in out 1974 trip to the national parks. The grizzly I saw was in Glacier National Park across the lake at Many Glacier hotel

I totally agree. Predators are and have always been part of the balance of nature. I think they were hunted ruthlessly more from fear & ignorance than anything. The Mt Lion is another predator that was widely distributed over most of America, before being hunted to extinction in the east except for a few Fl panthers & left in only a few places in the west, the black hills in S.D., California, Montana, Wyoming etc. However there are more and more sightings in the Midwest that gives me hope that they may reclaim some of their former range. Animals have always been part of the landscape, after what we humans have done to them, the least we can do is coexist. The world is a far better place with animals in it, all of them.

GREAT DOCUMENTARY! I live in Kentucky ,Yellowstone is on my short bucket list. So beautiful, dangerous, and wild! Hopefully in my lifetime, I will see it!

You NEED to go. Yellowstone is magnificent. You should go in summer and also winter. Make sure you give yourself enough time to see different parts of it… it’s not a 1-2 day trip, you know? You’ll love it 🏔️

Sometimes I get bored watching these long documentaries but this one I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. What an incredible video, and these animals are so beautiful I almost have tears in my eyes.

Black Tail sure had persistence. He had already been attacked earlier by the very same pack that accepted him into one of their own. What a turn of events for the better. Very excellent film and narration was above par. I hope Bill now does more like this and I'm able to find them.

So amazing, awesome, & even engrossing beyond words that who could resist not to watch it again & again. I can't help but keep coming back to this singular wildlife doc. of outstanding proportions. All the people engaged in the production, they all certainly deserve a big pat on the back for a job well done. In particular, those cameramen who had spent day & night w/ an infinite patience so as to procure those brilliant momentous footages in the face of some adverse conditions deserve special praise & kudos. Humans, native or alien, are an infestation that destroys and consumes all of nature only to grow in number, to destroy and consume more. This documentary is proof. That Yellowstone was made, that this documentary was made, that humans are prevented from living in Yellowstone is proof. Yellowstone is a postage stamp property in the vast human property surrounding it, established to give humans a last vestige of what the earth used to be like ENTERTAINMENT.

I could not take my eyes off of the screen, watching this iconic and classic struggle among the wild predators of Yellowstone National Park vs those calm and majestic animals that make up their prey. This series is simply wonderful to watch and I fell in love all over again with some of my own favorite wild beasts, as I followed along watching Bill Pullman lead me on a historic and magical journey through one of the great wonders of the world and one of our greatest American national treasures. I have profound admiration for the photographers that were able to video to capture these animals in their natural environment under often horrific weather conditions. Extremely well done video that gives us insight into how the natural world survives. We have to thank Teddy Roosevelt for Yellowstone and Bill Pullman for his excellent presentation about life for the animals that call Yellowstone home.

I can't help coveting Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming & Montana for its ineffable magnificent, majestic, stunning, & Sublime natural picturesque landscape beauty mingled w/ those wild animals that is accompanied w/ 4 SEASONS; in particular, that unutterable brilliant, & unmissable beauty in winter seems to defy description or simply beyond words: truly rare almost otherworldly incomparable one unlike any other parks on earth. ( those in Africa are also beautiful but not equipped w/ 4 seasons ). So Americans are certainly blessed to possess such an unspeakably beautiful land. This nature doc.simply shows us to witness & discern not only how intriguing & mysterious the ecosystem in the nature is, but also it unfolds us to perceive how it enigmatically works & keeps the system in balance.,,,It is so captivating, fascinating, & even spellbinding that I can't help doffing my hat to all the crew members concerned in the production of this singular doc.(After all, they had spent well over 1 yr. in the wilderness.), esp., those cameramen, sound men including that efficacious background music, excellent editors, & finally the sophisticated producers inclusive of an incisive script writer & a convincing narrator. " Truly Educational & Informative!! " Moreover, the fact we could enjoy watching & appreciate it on KZfaq for free is infinitely priceless & invaluable.,,,Grateful & gratified to the core.,,,,,(12/23/22)

the narrator is born to host anything wild. I would argue to a fist fight proving this is the best narrator for these doc. his voice is perfect. holds 100 percent of my attention. awesome job. 🙏
