I understand Angel is a phenomenal tumbler but they really are putting so much in this routine for her. Those standing passes, jumps to full and the running pass, plus standing full at the end.

much much better than the last performance!! the changes are good. they just need to bring more energy, especially in the dance! it lacks so much there. I just have a feeling that it's Brandon's year...their routine has much more difficulty in all stunts and pyramid. although smoeds standing and running tumbling is better....it will be close this year brandon is hungry and you can clearly see that their already so clean!!

Not gonna lie, I kinda gave up on hope on them. Glad to see they made some changes to this routine for the better. I still believe they have a long way to go if they are going to pull off a 4-peat in Sm Coed, but I'm glad to see it's a step in the right direction. Great job you guys.

SO proud of this team! I knew they would pull through! The changes in the routine are really really good and the pyramid when hits, is probably smoed's best so far..! I love it! This is seriously one of the strongest teams in allstar cheer and I admire their determination so much...! Also the music is perfect...

Idk if you use agree with me, but in the old routine Lauren would just be in the back orbin the side like if they would of forgot about her. But in this new routine she look preety good, actually getting the credit for how good she is. I

Honestly compared to where this team was at even a month ago this is a HUGE improvement and I actually see huge potential for it to do well at Worlds. Brandon and Beatles have insane routines this year but we all know how much Smoed tweak their routines and save the best till NCA/Worlds. Don't count them out yet :)

Everything was FIRE until that issue in pyramid. the dance lacked a lot of energy but honestly Smoed plays a smart game and they dont put all their hard stuff in the beginning like most teams. it gradually and gradually gets better. I have no doubt that Smoed, Brandon, and Beatles will have really good competition against each other. because at this point anyone can win really with these routines.

I'm so happy they changed the stunts and Pyramid.. it's much better now. And to all the people saying smoed sucks this year .. well smoed always got better throughout the season.. they never had a really good start so I'm pretty sure they are going to get it together til worlds. And if you hate them taking so long to set .. what do you say to like senior elite or something? A lot of teams take eben longer to set

THE NEW STUNT SEQUENCE IS SO GREAT

Once they get those double arounds to become actual double arounds, I think they'll be hard to beat. I don't think anyone can match their tumbling. I think this is one of the better Smoed performances I've seen in a long time, minus the pyramid mishap.

In my honest opinion I thought the routine was perfect and the dance was amazing, the dance I think they should leave alone I'm in love with it and their routine honestly wasn't bad and they did lack a bit of energy but that's just that their tired and their routine was very hard and so what if they ball up stretch every year? They look amazing either way😍 and this is only like their 2nd competition, don't give up on them cause their no where near the end and I don't think they could go for a 4 peat just don't give up on them cause they had it hard but, they will improve and win that ring!💍

personally, I think that difficulty wise, brandon and smoed are pretty much equal. Although brandon might have a little bit more difficult routine. But I think that brandon, right now, Is so much better. They really show how much a clean/tight routine can do. Also i think smoed's routine was choreographed as clean as Brandon was. And on top of that Brandon black is already consistently hitting, so they can add difficulty already, this early in the season. But that's just my opinion.

It's not boring, its just the fact that since they are 3x world champs you guys expect soooo much more from them… they'll get it together, they are barely starting people

I love smoed and brandon both, but i think brandon has it this year. they have such a flawless routine, and in my opinion i'd rather see a clean routine hit than a little more difficult routine thats bobbling and falling.

Can't believe Madi isn't flying at all this year and that they've even taken her out of the pyramid. She's by far the strongest flyer on the team so its honestly besides me why they've made that decision..

This is so random and I love SMOED but it really annoys me how long it takes them to get ready on the floor before they start the music. You do not get tht long To set up at worlds, you don't get special treatment because you're SMOED, and you should already be prepared to perform when you step on the mat. These athletes are intensely trained and prepared there is no need to prolong getting set up.

Love this routine but I wish they'd do something with the dance section, though - if the last few counts have such little energy and are so boring, they'll have no chance at worlds; Brandon will take it. If it is improved, I think worlds will be even closer than usual this year...

They definitely need to clean up those double arounds at the top. They're kind of just 540s. Their tumbling's crazy though, and should definitely pull their score up, but I think Brandon might just have more difficult stunting and are much MUCH cleaner, so SMOED might just be outscored. In any case, the small coed division is just... so great this year. Watching this again though, they need to switch up that choreography at the end. It's very hard to inject energy into those steps. It only gets pretty good at around 3:33, when there's finally any semblance of extension in their movement. But by then there's only 5 seconds left.

maddie should not be basing, she needs to be in the air doing her thing. maybe they need new bases instead of new flyers................ #badmovesmoed

I really love smoke and this routine, but with maddy as a base, the lack of energy from the crowed just makes the routine seem less exciting, I think if there was a better crowd it would be better

So, why is Angel barely dancing, if they are working her that hard that she can barely finish the routine they need to take some of her skills out, they work on endurance so much but yet alot of them are out of breath barely finishing the routine. Honestly this routine is so boring besides the cool tumbling transitions I feel like they do the same stuff every year and can they partner stunt anything besides a damn ball up stretch EVERY YEAR!

They definitely dummed down their routine since showcase. The performance was eh :/ it's very wierd that their routine is simplified and they still can't hit it :/ after about 30 seconds it got boring. Hate to say it but Smoed reign has come to an end :/

not being rude but why is it always chimmy & angelina's pyramid sides falling. ever since they joined smoed it's their stunts that are iffy. don't get me wrong i love them and their stunts are great when they hit but they don't always hit.

why did they copy almost exactly the same thing as 2013. They copied Topgun with the falling needles but they changed it a bit.
