Day 2 of letting you know to focus on rate per day, rate per week, rate per month, rate per year instead of rate per mile. You can get 10/mi, but if you’re only going 100 miles and it takes 2-3 days to do, you made squat. You also can’t focus on one load at a time. Sometimes you gotta take cheaper freight to get to better pay. Focus on that average, the big picture, not the individual loads

Don't worry about those bad shifts. My Dad drove semi's in the Navy and sticks his whole life. The only time I ever saw him grind a gear was when he was showing me how to shift.

I have several comments on this video. I dont like 2 admit this but i guess i am old school now 😂. Your call on the ice cream was 💯 % right. Wear & tear on your unit & fuel aint cheap. Anyone who knows engines knows Detroits leak & gives you plenty of coal( i have a 12.7 also & a Red Top 525 Cummings). Suggestion on the down shift, tap the pedal & give it a little rpm b4 you downshift. That will make the downshift smoother. Its just practice don't worry. Your on the right path young jedi 😊.

When you are shifting gears and you coming from the Low side to the high side you really don't have to pull it out of gear every time you can just flip the switch and let off the throttle an it'll shift by itself. I'm not telling you how to drive because you do a awesome job everybody got their ways how they drive that's just how I shift. U driving the hell out of it though and like I said I'm not trying to tell you how to drive your truck Broski 💪🏾💯😎 I like that 🦍🦍 shifter

I never run my unit on continuous, I have the same unit as you an it does just fine on start/stop an 90% of my loads are below zero. Stay away from TQL they will screw you anyway they can.
