Tried it several times, will not work. video to fast to follow, hard to tell what you're clicking on or if you are right clicking. Maybe working on 2013 version is the problem? Another thing, is the smoke video activated automatically when the preview begins or must it be clicked?

Next time I will try to go slower. Smoke Videos start playing automatically in the preview and that what is required. BTW 2013 is not much different than 2016. You can download the video and can play the video in VLC Player and can slow down the speed. Sorry for the trouble.

Clickbait title! Using a video doesn't exactly count as PP Effect! On what the "Smoke Text Effect" process concerns - Printscreen, Crop, Text characters individually filled and animated? Sorry but it can be done - easier and better - even in PowerPoint 2010!

Yes, you are absolutely right Sir. PrintScreen, Crop, Fill Color, Transparency effect and a video running in the background, that what it all takes to create this illusionary Smoke Text Effect. But I have never seen that done before in PowerPoint. Maybe you can do it much better and I would like to see that. BTW, in PowerPoint 2010, you might not be able to accomplish this as you might not find Merge Shapes command in that.

You'd seriously review your "title" as «"The" Teacher»... Having never seen it made in PowerPoint 2010, doesn't mean it can't be done - by whom really has nails to play that guitar - in an easier and better way: 4 objects [ 1 video, 2 text boxes, 1 black rectangle (oh and a - not essential - sound object), 5 steps (no need for "Merge Shapes"), for a muuuch better result - tinyurl.com/yaoog3us !!!

May I ask that what is the point? Seriously, why you are so serious pointing out something in my work. If you can do something better then go ahead and why you are wasting your time here. I made those tutorials for beginners, you see. If you are a master then try teaching others instead of just pointing a finger. Maybe in half-an-hour I am going to publish a compilation video of my work in year 2017. Take your time and find and note down everything and then let me know, again.

click on the magnet, and from there you can adjust how the tracks snap onto the grid. if you want it to be each 1/4 of a bar, click "line"

Cannot open screen up to be larger. Cannot read anything. I was reading it on my smartphone when I should have realized I should pull it up on my desktop screen. I have Fibromyalgia and it affects my optical nerves. Even have to blow up desktop screen a bunch to be able to read. No throwing shade your way. You are pretty cool to me!😊

I am looking at it on my smartphone. Guess I need to try my destop. I have Fibromyalgia in my optic nerves. Some days its a struggle to even read my desktop screen unless I blow it up to 150%. No bad vibes intended.

I found out why soft softs so different compared to Ableton. It is because there is a default limiter on the master that i didn't know about.
