Күн бұрынThe artwork was made by me and it imitates a scene from an old anime called "Bubblegum Crisis", but it also references this video ( • Voyage 3 (Chillwave - ... ) since this song is meant to represent Synthwave/Cyberpunk type of stuff.
Nikku's outfit also represents something in particular, can you guess what it is? Leave it in the comments section hohoho

I know, it's been a while since the last time I've posted about the project, so I just kinda wanted to surprise ya'll with a new release! I know some of you have already heard this one because someone posted it in their channel, but it's fine, from now on I give that person permission to upload WIPs and pre-releases of things to test if they have a good reception or not, so I can at least change 'em!
Now, I know y'all are excited and are just waiting for this project to be released soon, but please, we would really appreciate your patience since what we are doing is something really really cool. We're not only remaking everything from the previous release, but we are also trying our best to bring y'all something that feels "unique" in some way, not just some extra Friday Night Funkin' stylized tracks and that's it.
I would love to show some of the new stuff, concepts, characters and stages we have prepared, but we still need some time, hopefully we can show some of that stuff soon but no promise!
Important Note: Sakura Mix IS the final version of this project, now you may be wondering "what about Sunset Hills, what about the story?", if it ever comes out, it's not gonna be a mod, as simple as that. Friday Night Funkin' as a whole isn't the best medium to tell this story, to represent its own vibe, so if things go well I would really like to make a completely original project totally disconnected from FNF. I really hope y'all understand this decision!

These is the best bf tuning I’ve heard in a long time. Nikku also sounds fantastic here, she seems to fit songs with a lot of hold notes very well in general.

I came in late, but I still wanted to listen to the full song before commenting, and MAN was that a bop! 👏 I usually feel a bit iffy with the V2's first before warming up to them, but this one INSTANTLY topped the previous version, no argument. And what you said about Hotline 024's Sunset Hills potentially becoming a project bigger than FNF got me SO HYPED! And if I had a nickel everytime an FNF mod decided to become an entirely different project altogether, I'd have three nickels, which ain't much, but I love how FNF was basically a stepping stone for people to see if their own original projects could work (those mods in particular being, Vs. IvnyRose, Vs. In the Galaxy, and of course Hotline 024). 👍

I'm gonna admit Smokebomb was never one of my favorites from the Medley Update, but I feel the instrumental in this new rendition better supports the vocals and gives it a lot more soul. It sort of sounds like an old '90s anime credits theme, offering a heroic and hopeful tone. Total jam.

The original was already great, but this one is absolutely amazing. Smokebomb was already one of my favorites from the mod so hearing V2 gives me absolute serotonin. Very much looking forward to hearing all of the remakes of already existing songs, on top of all of the new stuff

YOOOOOO, I am genuinely pumped, and the song captures that synthwave aspect so well, whilst still keeping a unique sound. I didnt expect this to be one of the songs to come out this soon, given the various potential v2's you sneak peeked with the poll that had Uncanny Valley win. I think I'm a bit of a sucker of synthwave and eurobeat. Ever fucking note is so...intense? This make feel the firts version like if it was unsaltted, and now every song sounds so fullish that is warmhearting. H024 (in my opinion) is the best thing that have ocurred in FNF Who would tell that some beep bop songs will sound like this, huh? Edit: also, that last bf note, UF

This version is good but I do think the strong points of smokebomb is its chill "end credit" vibe. The V2 is more dense and complete at the cost of its main essence. I don't recognise the old smokebomb in it, it's another song to me (pretty good tho)
