For today’s recipe, I want to show you how to make the perfect smoked chicken! This is a recipe I get asked about all the time. People always ask me:
~Why is the skin on my chicken rubbery?

~Why is my chicken so dry?
~What’s the best way to prepare the chicken?
Well today, I’ll answer those questions for you! Don’t be afraid to cook whole chicken anymore!

Check out videos about how to break down a turkey before cooking, that has worked really well for me. I toss the wings, but I end up cooking 2 breasts and two rear quarters. Its been great everytime I've done it. Eat one breast and freeze the other for smoked turkey breast some other time. I say this just because it's easier to fit the turkey in my electric smoker when it's broken down.

Hi I'm from Philippines . Can you suggest the room temperature for the chicken cause your temperature there is different here in the Philippines because of different weather.

Yes! The final temperature of the chicken is 165°F or 78°C. I hope this helps!
