Kinda ironic that people interpreted Jarven smelling like dragon because he smashed Shyvana, when he smells like dragon cause his amor is made from Shyvanas mother.

Apparently that’s been rewritten. The armor is passed down from generation so it’s unlikely to be made from Shyvana’s mother. It is possible it’s still made from a dragon, or that J4 added parts of Shyvana’s mother to the armor though, but I do find the other implications to be a lot funnier.

If my info is right (haven't seen the video, so this is only based on the thumbnail), Smolder in the Latam dub says that Jarvan smells like "dragona". If you know spanish, you know that the suffix "a" in a noun is to say something in the female gender, like abuela, tía, leona, etcetera. Now, let me double check. Edit: So, yeah, that was mostly clickbait. Would've been REAAAAAAALLY funny tho

in the first trailer of Smolder is hinted a girl who fighted side to side who wasn't a queen of Camavor but related with the dragons, that girl is probably Kalista or someone related to Kalista (in resume: Kalista probably knows the mother of Smolder)

I honestly like his quotes a LOT. The voice is perfect, the attitude is fitting for a kid, and if anything gets too serious, mom is watching from high up in the sky taking care of her little one! It just works. People are mad cause 'where my monster champ', but he's a monster. Just not an ugly one. Those people that ask for a monster want an UGLY champion. Thats what they want.

No people like the monsterous void champs, tbh Bel'Veth hits that mark for a lot of people People are more upset that he's not dragon enough for them... tbf, his model wasn't dragon enough (Though it's not like it'll really be visible anyways), but his splash is cartoonish dragon enough that he looks like a small dragon If anything, a lot has blown over from what I've seen because he FEELS very dragon in game, even if he's just a lil' guy

The original face was too human like. They’ve changed him since. But riot has plenty of animal looking dragons that they should have used instead of what they originally put out.

probably because he does not look like a dragon, almost like a kids face plasted on a dragon, and people dont like "ugly monsters" look at belveth for example shes just a really nice written character and her visuals are soo good and fitting with her personality and his whole role in the lore and compare that to smolder, they could honestly just make his design a bit better

At the very least, proper pronunciation is a reasonable request for liking a character. You may have zero standards and be charmed by jingling keys, but some of us expect more from Riot.

Didn't much like this one at first, cus I figured he'll be one of those bait champions, but now I'm warming up to im'. I still wish that all those boring, forgettable champions who were added in 2023, 22 and before would simply not exist. As an example, I see Nautilus more often and with much more joy than Zeri, when there is ten years difference between them. Riot needs to tone down quantity and turn up the quality on their output, or just keep reworking already existing champions.
