I heard clubs don't play this kind of stuff often because the literal sound/quality of songs like these are distorted and not super crisp sounding. You don't go to live concerts with low quality sounding music, there's not much of an appeal. But these songs are produced in a certain way for a reason...

Venues and festivals that can afford the high quality sound systems exist. You may not get the same sound quality like your headphones, but it's really close to it. I've been to a few here in California. @@drew-g

I live in LA, and I have definitely been to several shows with this style of house. They're normally held in small warehouses or studio spaces, and the energy in there is just as amazing as the music. Hope you get to experience it some day. (L.I.E.S, a record label from New York, also hosts some good shows on occasion)

@@drew-g not the case, theres plenty of clubs in nyc playing oldschool house and rave music on nice professional equipment and it sounds glorious! Check out Good room, Nowadays, House of Yes

Reminds me of my time in the clubs. The nostalgia is so relaxing, like a deep breath of fresh air. My favorite house music club shut down recently, so it's also a little sad.
