I've been depressed for a long time, I seem useless and bad

Dear person reading this I hope your day has been going well, if not, I hope it gets better. You are an amazing person who will inspire others to do great things so keep up the hard work. I know you may feel unimportant or insecure at the moment but know that you are a beautiful human being inside, outside and you are important.

I got out of a terrible 6 year relationship and I was so depressed. And used all types of music to feel relaxed and happier, but nothing cut it like this. I am officially a jazz fan now!

I'm in my 70s and live alone. And it's so easy to think back on all the episodes in my life and feel (as it says below) "useless and bad." It's so easy to do. Then, somehow, I manage to laugh at all the absurdities happening even now, day-to-day. I find humor (about/at myself) which makes all the regret go away. I laugh out loud. The absurdity itself is something to laugh at, not to regret or feel contrite about. We are what we are, the past is dead and gone, and we're here to celebrate what we "can" be now. Enjoy the music, don't let the past tell you "who you are" today, and take back the night. Most of all, laugh more, smile more, and appreciate the small gifts - like this music.

Just sit back and relax, music is a language that everyone understands, if you are reading this, you are a special and amazing person ❤

Dear anyone that reads this, I really hope that your life will get better. If you're sad/depressed and feel like no one understands. I understand you mate, and I care so if you want to talk to me it's OK. You can vent to me about anything and I will listen. Please do not harm yourselves. You are worth and if people tell you you're useless/worthless don't listen to them. You have worth, we all are and you have a purpose in this world. And if no one has says anything nice to you today I just wanna say you have been through so much and you've done so much you are a beautiful, precious human being. And if you have no one right now, at least you have me. I know im just a random person on the internet but I do genuinely wanna help.
