I get this sentiment. But unfortunately that's how McDonald's operates. They rather have a monopoly on there brand by owning a secondary company that charges franchisees astronomical amounts of money to fix said machine. Also it's a very fixable issue most times. Sometimes the workers fill the ice cream mix up to much. But as an ex-manager it was frustrating. At that point why have it why even offer it if your just screwing people over. Also what was really frustrating was we had a maintenance guy. Most McDonald's do. That could be trained to fix the ice cream machines. Never trained us the managers or them to actually repair it.
@Jim26D4 ай бұрын
The reality is Mcdonalds employees are to lazy to clean the machines since it involves actual work to do it properly, most times the machines are fine. @@unclerico1106

It's not about the blending itself, more that they sell a cup of fresh frozen fruit (wow that was an alliteration from hell) and that you can actually see what's in your smoothie before you consume it. Here in Europe I only see ready to drink smooties with a long list of ingredients and I don't know where the fruits come from or how fresh they were and such. So to me, this is future - combining healthy diet with convenience instead of processed, artificial foods. The only downside is the amount of plastic packaging, plastic parts of the machine and so on. But I don't see any solution to that worldwide issue.

@@pernillekopatz4760 your do read i wrote "Hate" before i wrote "avoid" right? Its a strong word. What it means, its those who force people and so anti about plastic and look at people using plastic as if they are murderer. My view obviously for those people. What i meant was, how theyre so anti and looking at us eho usr plastic as worst as evil devil, but how dare they also use plastic? While judging at us? And therr are still a lit of urgent problems of the world & earth that many people still ignore anyway. And avoid the topic. Avoid to even research but rely on people's opinion or majority of what they see and heard or watch, or what socmeds say. Example, human trafficking, its increasing highly about organs, not to mention chemical testing with alive-human, illegal adoptions, illegal donors, slavery, including cult/sect & globalists illuminati project. Most people only get what Human Trafficking as underage sxx & illegal sxx. I havent even talk about real-urge human rights issues like plstn & rohingya & many others. Interestingly, while BLM Movements looks so strong for years, they dont speak for all Blacks as there are still so many Black people who are not even live in a Popular countries & still experienving actual slavery. People who spread it, called out as liars. It should be more important issues to settle or Black race than just cultural apprp. What im trying to say to you is.. While you see something important about plastic, you need to know and aware, that plastic is not #1 or any main problems of world or earth. If it is, every single govs will even create a rules that have law consequences in it. Because, who wanna die or live in worst nightmare of earth or world to be very honest, Right?
