I've wanted to do this song since I finished my first playthrough of Undertale! The Bergentrückung intro sets the tone for the intensity of Asgore's battle theme, which fits perfectly into the gravity of the battle. A big challenge I had with this song lies in how many stacked instruments Toby used, which almost never translates well into vocals. I ended up experimenting quite a bit with vocal layers at different octaves, and I'm happy with the result! I intentionally left out bits of the footage and dialogue that would amplify the spoilers for anyone who hasn't played the game yet.
I wanted to save this song towards the end of this series of Undertale acapellas, and I hope you guys get some enjoyment out of it!!

@@ariyasthehufflepuff573 It's been 10 years and they are still razor sharp. I had to go in twice, once to have all my teeth removed (most of my adult teeth didn't grow in and what did was malformed) and then a second time a year later to have titanium posts put into my jaws that ceramic teeth would eventually be bolted to. I could eat anything solid for two weeks after each time except some really strong pain meds (I was basically snowed for the first couple of days each time). But in the end it was totally worth it. My speech is better, eating is so much easier and cleaner and my smile actually looks normal. I guess Asgore was kind of right. Fighting him is kind of painful and the immediate events after are kind of a nightmare and you have to do it twice if you want a good ending. But it is worth it.

I love How In the Genocide Run, Asgore (and everyone with another example being papyrus) Asks you if you want a Cup of Tea, Because he is Used to having monster as his throneroom doorstep, and since you've killed everyone in the underground, you're a monster, a big one. (and Papyrus Sees the same thing, as a Monster who is going down the wrong path, and he's clueless about who or what you are even after the Process of elimination)

In my opinion, undertale wasn't the exactly best game I owned. The only replay value for me was to get the other endings, yet the only one that actually gave me some satisfaction was True Pacifist. By the way, FUCK the Genocide ending. It has you waiting for 10 minutes on a blank screen just to say "haha jk" then does a really cheap jumpscare. Also, once you get done with one monster, you're basically done with the whole species for the area. All of the 4th wall breaking got old really quick, and had way too much of it for my liking. Criticisms aside, It had a rocking soundtrack, I liked interactions with the characters, and after a reset it gave them new dialogue. A big portion of it was pretty funny, and even a little witty at times. Puzzles were kinda fun, and the Genocide route was basically a whole new game. True Pacifist was almost tear-jerking at times, and was just a really fun playthrough... The first or second time over, that is.
