Well Smoothound season is well under way, and we travelled to our favourite Neal tide low water mark in the south! We managed the target species just not the right size, but it was nice to see the numbers coming in! Also was an added bonus to see the underwater footage, albeit it didn’t end how i wanted it to!!

Thank you! Yea the bigger hounds should start showing soon, I want to fish on an evening tide down there, that’s when you normally get the bigger ones

Nice one - enjoyable watch.Fantastic fishing! sweeet. Some really good filming got a great idea of what that mark was like. Loved seeing that bass underwater hope you use that underwater camera in future its so intriguing to watch just seeing the underwater environment is enough but the fish too are such a bonus

Great session mate , definitely my favourite place for hounds even if the parking is a nightmare paired with the long walk , misses a load of the small tides after busting 2 ribs but hopefully the hounds will be well in by the next decent lows come around middle of next month

Mate I love it down there, can’t beat it! I’ve got used to the parking and walk now and it seems normal, it well worth it though

What’s the spec on setup mate - Rod t/c - lead weight - line weight - leader spec Relatively new and want to give myself the best chance
