@@slak.1954 I think they're just saying that because the degree didn't need to be mentioned at all. To them, if it was because of having a degree, it would also apply to Shane, which isn't the case. But I get what you mean though, she able to apply it to this setting well.

I still laugh whenever I think about the part in the "Too Many Batmans" video when Spencer says, "Cunnilingus and Killing--the two things I won't do" and Ian chimes in with "As Batman, we don't like to do anything that starts with the word K." Watching them play off each other until it devolves into dark comedy chaos would be gold!
