The person should not shuffle their own draw, that is an easy way to actually belive that they can get the same thing.

Quick note about rules: when challenging a true assassin or declaring falsely a contessa to block an assassination, if the assassinated is revealed to be wrong he must discard one card for the murder and one for the lost challenge! So Spencer should have lost both cards!

What's fun is when you get the extention pack, which includes allegiances and the Inquisitor card. The Inquisitor has the same function as the Ambassador, but you can either choose the deck, OR look at another person's card and choose to swap. It also allows for more players. So glad you guys played this, this is one of my favorite games!
