I think they were also carrying over the memory of the strictness from the old vids. The group was (inconsistently) very demanding accuracy-wise. I remember Shayne's Jiggly Puff getting rejected even though it was so good. It was kinda hilarious coz it's hard to judge consistently when you're in between repeat attempts and laughs.

@@shinobu-39I still think the fatal flaw is letting each other judge instead of having a separate person or panel of judges. It’s too easy to hold a grudge that someone was harsh about your sound and therefore not want them to succeed. I’m not accusing anyone of doing this intentionally, I think it’s an unavoidable unconscious bias.

Smosh: The New Class is so fun. I almost can't imagine these channels without them. Angela is a goddamn mess in the best way. Chanse is a national treasure and must be protected at all costs. Arasha amazing has mischievous little sister energy. Amanda is the very strange aunt who you only see at Thanksgiving every year who needs to tell you all about her entire year over the span of eight hours, but you're not mad about it. I never want them to leave, but I absolutely see them going above and beyond the KZfaq scene.

Y'all really come across as a chosen family at this point, the vibe is always amazing. Everyone has their own quirk and strenghts which just meshes in suprising and fun ways in those different groups. The dynamics and cast really feel like a Daily Soap TV Show sometimes where there is (at least) one type of "character" for everyone, but thats just how you all are.
