Miss the old C151 Unrefurbished, those are the favourite 1st Generations Rolling Stocks when we were a kid used to ride it. Now, everything has changed.

in 2009 Mr Raymond Lim then Ministee for Transport declared the completion of refurbishing the 66 1st gen trains. in 2017 8 years later Transport Minister Khaw Boon Wan declared the competion of sleeper replacement works.. what do u think?

The chime for the announcements in the stations are still used on the BPLRT.

I think this was filmed somewhere in 2005 as Clementi still using the 2001 signage

you have a sharp eye.. i had to play the video at 0.25x zoom to see what you meant. was it just the station code + the name of the station in english back then? without any mother tongue characters?

The old 0:18 chime is still around on BPLRT, but only on one announcement. (Chime) Train is arriving. Please stand behind the yellow line and give way to alighting passengers before boarding. Thank you for your cooperation. Somehow all BPLRT announcements (at least those in English) were done by Juanita Melson.

@caixSGTransport ok but thnx for this upload of the old announcements! every time i hear juanita's voice i miss her even more:( but pls can u upload the full train ride from clementi to jurong and lakeside to boon lay? i dont care about the bad quality for my the sound quality is good enough(A)

@kttandon no, it should be: CHY=Windows 7, JM=Windows XP (by some train fans and non train fans)
