I must say, having to see Gore died really broke my heart, but Mastema's death not only fixed it, but filled it with a plethora of positive emotions that were, up to this point, unknown to me

RIP Gore and Arthur. Neutral Heroes always seem to get the short end of the stick in SMT. Also, Mastema turned out to be sniveling, selfish scumbucket that only cared about getting a promotion? I'm shocked. Shocked! Well, not that shocked. The preachy, holier-than-thou lot is always revealed as such.

Its so out of place knowing that, that in SMT 4, he is like totally different from his portrayal in Strange Journey, wanting to serve his Lord his own way, genuinely wants to help humanity and even the archangels does not like him. Hell, you can't even fight him in the Chaos route, only Law, as he said that humanity devolving to their barbaric nature will eventually lead them to embrace his Lord's light.

Your boi seriously just won a boss fight using Energy Drain; that just happened. Now, I'm not saying Louisa's act of roasting Mastema so thoroughly that he disintegrates is my favorite part in the whole game...but that roast is totally my favorite part in the whole game. This exchange has some of my favorite lines from Lucifer in the whole series, too.
