I never expected it to go so HARD. That was the HARDEST summer concept song I ever heard. Wow. NOW THAT IS HOW WE TAKE A SUMMER SONG AND MAKE IT AESPA-fied. That wasn't 'cutesy' or 'mid' like ppl were saying from the teaser at all. That was fire. Pure fire.

Coming back to this one year later, now a full blown MY and anxiously waiting for their Armageddon comeback and boy am i proud to stan aespa. This was the song that made me tune in religiously to every stage and even watched some behind the scenes and concert clips later. Drama sealed the deal but spicy became my most listened song in may 2023 and it definitely kickstarted my aespa stan era, so i will always be grateful 🩵

It was their concept and music genre that made me really stan them. It's just pure ARTISTRY! Although I am kind of detached from this comeback as it's very different from their usual futuristic kwangya concept. I just missed the whole futuristic kwangya and dark synths that they had on their previous songs. But I'm starting to like this!

For me it is one of the best comebacks aespa already had. I'm very happy about Spicy because the song is a bop (as always), concept makes me remember Life's too short, there is so much rap and all the girls slayed. Mys, aespa worked so hard for this comeback. Let's stream it as much as we can!
