the fact that this song is japanese is so surprising because it's so kpop-like.. I feel like normally japanese releases from kpop tend to be more 'jpop-like' but this is a song in japanese that's still totally kpop-like, it's crazy. I barely even noticed they were singing in japanese and not koean

As a casual Jpop listener, I'd personally disagree about the 2nd sentence. Maybe the type of Jpop I've heard just wasn't similar to Kpop, but most of Kpop groups' JP songs to me just sound like slightly different/lower quality Kpop in another language 😅. The only song released by a Kpop group that sounded like Jpop through and through to me was IZ*ONE's Suki to Iwasetai and a few (but not all) of their other JP releases (and Le Sserafim's Jewelry too).

日本人からしてみると、KPOPが出す日本語ver.よりもNCTNEWTEAMの曲の方がしっかり日本語が聞こえて聞き取りやすいです。日本語ではなく韓国語に聞こえたという感想は興味深いです👍

Riku and Yushi’s vocal tone are very unique but Daeyoung would definitely fit in SM’s main vocal line. The talent for a month old trainee. SM’s hidden gem unleashed.

Yep Daeyoung is the main vocal and Yushi is also part of the vocal while Riku is the main rapper. Riku's unique tone is going to add new color to NCTs rap line😊😊

日本デビューだけど完全にSMの音楽だし、kpopらしさがしっかり出ててこれは他の日本のグループと差別化できそうだね。ドリムのdiggityとかDeja vuの系統の曲調で、日本人以外にもしっかり受けそうで安心した〜😢 映像も他のnctのクリエイターチームが担ってるからクオリティ高いし期待できそう😭
