SHINee is VERY POPULAR in Korea, as told by a friend staying in Korea. It is infact the international fandom who sleeps on SHINee, the new international fans are mainly focused on the new groups. Koreans respect SHINee a lot, you would always see how passionate Korean Shawols are in events within Korea. During a music festival in Busan last month Shawol literally were the most active fandom. The fan chants and support was clearly overpowering. And most Koreans use naver, melon and other online video streaming sites to watch their favourite groups so that explains less number of views.

For them to debut at such young ages and still be around for 8 years that shows a huge amount of talent and hardwork. Taemin is 23 and still as young or youngER than most boy group members that haven't even been around for half the time they have. They basically had THE BEST debut song in kpop history. I read a post before with Taemin saying that he knows we try hard. SHINee just want to show their performance so he said we shouldn't be too upset about the views. That's something I love about SHINee. They've always presented themselves as a group who put the music above everything else. They just want to perform their songs and hope that we enjoy them. Of course awards are nice, but they're not disappointed with us if they don't win because they still got to perform. Views are not really a big deal tbh, SHINee don't really need big views to be respected as artists, they already are. Views don't exactly mean anything anyway, they're usually streamed. SHINee have nothing to prove with views, they've already proven themselves as amazing artists. They're one of the most respected groups going. Their album was one of the best selling this year and Shawols are the 5th biggest fandom. So Shawols don't worry too much about the views, I think if we want to stream we should do it for fun just to see how many we can get while enjoying this amazing song. Their careers don't rely on views so they're not massively necessary. Let's just enjoy their music and this amazing video! 😊

I found these boys 4 months ago, at the end of July. They helped me start to love music again, make friends (Shawols) online, and overall just made me happy. I've only been a fan for a little and honestly throughout this journey of mine I'm so proud. I would've liked to say I've been following them since the beginning, but I can't. I still feel like I've seen them grow up throughout the numerous videos I've watched though, especially Taemin. Going back to what I said earlier, I feel proud because look at how famous our boys are! Minho's an actor, a pretty good one at that, Key is an editor, fashionista, M.C., actor (drinking solo) and model, Onew is starting to be in more and more shows (DOTS and Top Gear Korea), Jonghyun's a composer, not just for SHINee but for other SM artists, and a soloist. Do I even have to go over Taemin??? He's a successful dancer and soloist! He had BRUNO MARS compose one of his songs! Not to mention key and Taemin have both been in musicals. They started out over 8 years ago! EIGHT. YEARS. Most groups don't last that long! I would just like to add the fact that I started crying while listening and watching this XD I love our boys so very much! ❤️ SHAWOLS FIGHTING!
