Also all the harmonies in SNSD songs make it so I still hear new things when listening to 5+ year old songs. Even the chanted ‘I got a boy’ bits have different layers. I feel like that’s what’s missing when people cover iconic SNSD songs like Gee, The Boys, Oh, etc.

In the year this song was published, the internet was not as easy as it is now, because Android smartphones were not as easy for teenagers and young children to use as they are now.
