@@sansnom5269 Nah, she has kindergarten teacher *licence.* She has, from what I have gathered, never claimed to have actually worked as one, just that she has license as a teacher for that level. And I don't think it is hard to imagine why. Considering that she has hard time expressing herself well outside of those she is very intimate with. Even if she likes children she likely had both hard time finding work on that field on top of dealing with her extreme shyness (well, it is actually way more than just mere shyness, but I have kind of forgotten the proper English terms for it). I wouldn't find it surprising if she is using this job to also help her deal with her own issues and once she graduates, no doubt on her own terms, she will likely (and hopefully) have the confidence to fulfill her goal to be a kindergarten teacher (if that is still her goal by then of course). ^_^

In yahtzee, rolling a yacht you have six possible outcones, but if you want the highest score for your 1-6's its only one possibile outcome for each number. Its better to take the numbers when you can and save the yachts for later in the game

@@natedanforth9652 OMG This is frustratingly wrong. First of all, a Yahzt is worth 50 points, which is more points than any of the number categories. Second, a number category doesn't punish you so much for not having all 5 being that number. For example, if you only have 4 6s, you'd still get 24 points in the 6s category, which is only 6 points less than the maximum, but a Yahzt gives you 0 points. And you're usually able to snatch the 35-point bonus even without putting 5 6s in the 6 category. Lastly, you said "save the Yahzts for later in the game". Are you a luck machine? Even from the first turn there is a less than 50% chance that you'll ever get a Yahzt in the game. So if you're willing to gamble and take the risk of losing 50 points from a Yazht of 6s just to get an extra 6-12 points in the 6s category, that's fine by me, if you're willing to lose points on average.

@@natedanforth9652 Yeah… Like, the only one where it _might_ make sense to put a Yacht/Yahtzee in the numbers category would be for 6s, maybe 5s if your other number rolls were lacking. And even then, it assumes that you have enough luck to get multiple Yachts/Yahtzees in the same game. To put this in perspective, you get a 35-point bonus if your total for the numbers category is at least the amount you get for getting three-of-a-kind for each (3×1+3×2+3×3+3×4+3×5+3×6 = 3+6+9+12+15+18 = 63), so as long as you do good enough for 4s, 5s, and/or 6s to make up the difference in losses from the others, the difference in score between 4 of a kind and 5 of a kind for any of the numbers is not enough to make up for a potential 0 in a Yacht/Yahtzee instead of 50. Basically, you’d need to have your current total for numbers being between 43 and 47 with only 4s remaining, between 38 and 42 with only 5s remaining, or between 33 and 38 with only 6s remaining (so that 5 of a kind would be necessary to get the 35-point bonus _and_ for the result of the roll plus the bonus to exceed the 50 points you’d get for a Yacht/Yahtzee) for it to _ever_ make sense to put a 5-of-a-kind into numbers instead (assuming you don’t already have Yacht/Yahtzee filled), and even then, the closer you are to the lower bound for each of those ranges (especially for 4s), the less sense it would make since you could at least get some points for rolling 1-4 of a kind for that number while still missing the bonus to make up the difference. Really, if you roll five of the same number and haven’t yet used the Yacht space, there isn’t really any reason to put it in numbers; the difference isn’t enough.

@@danielyuan9862 Your calculation neglects the 35-point bonus for getting 63+ points total in the numbers category (so you could end up looking at as much as a 41-point difference (6 + the 35 bonus) between 4-of-a-kind and 5-of-a-kind being put in the numbers category if your current total among 1s, 2s, 3s, 4s, and 5s is somewhere between 33 and 38 and you roll 5 6s), but that is an incredibly specific situation, and even then, the math still favors putting 5-of-a-kind in Yacht/Yahtzee for the whopping 50-point difference between 5-of-a-kind and literally anything else (since the difference in numbers is at most 41 points).
