It's cheating your way through the game. No way a person can press a button that fast to make mario swim up as fast as the flash. And the hitboxes on the piranha plants are ridiculously close to mario. Also, wall jumping in some of these TAS's, avoiding obvious deaths when they clearly fall off the ledge. Altering the game in any way is a form of cheating with the help of a program. They're still fun af to watch tho.

@@HINDERIZED they use emulator's tools such as frame advance and save states to frame perfect things and perform complexe glitchs that are impossible for humans in RTA. also, your comment still don't make any fucking sense. everything he did (e.g walljump) were call'd glitches, everything exists in the original game's code and can be performed with precise machine inputs. He didn't changed anything of the original game's physics. It is not cheat if the thing exists in the original game and CAN be performed.

it's tool assisted so they can make perfect dodges and such.

I'm aware of that, but the dodge windows seem massive, like half of mario is covering half a piranha plant. It feels like it should just be if the sprites overlap, you take damage.

TAS doesn't alter the game, it's literally just letting him press buttons faster than a human can. Those wonky hitboxes are in the game itself, he's just taking advantage of them.

Nope. It can’t be, not if it’s using the spitting sound effect for bosses getting hit, which is a clear indication of it being programmed poorly.

They could've just sent Peach to a faraway planet so she won't get kidnapped. Iron Man, Dr. Strange, Mr. Fantastic, and an Inhuman did the same to Hulk. Either that, or fans considered Super Mario Odyssey a prequel to this.

Most of the bosses quite surprised me. And the 'Say Hi To DK For Me' level really took me by surprise, how in the world can you do that in a SMW hack?! It's really cool.

Something that I don't understand about Mario Game Creators/Editors is why do they fast play levels that they have created? Then there are Creators/Editors like this person, who skips some of their created levels. Instead of advertising their masterpiece levels, they put on a grandstanding performance on their game play.
