Your combo to play around imperm on diabellstar loses to nib - I highly suggest you instead use ash to send oak from s/t to summon flamberge as summon 5. Then use flamberge to place oak back into the s/t zone. Then link the flamberge and witch into IP, summon ash and poplar with flamberge eff. Even if you get nibbed here, you can summon oak, then oak summon poplar. You could link 2 into hiita or dharc here if relevant, or leave the oak on board. On the opponent’s turn you can then use Linkuriboh to tribute poplar, then poplar will place flamberge in s/t zone, which is really important in the mirror.

You realize in the otk combo when you have the field spell up, the 3 level 1s and Promethean on field the combined attack is 8400 for otk by itself lol. Love the channel. Wouldn't mind a video that shows how to play into a board of pure vs pure, what proper sequences to use for what

38:38 why do you use flamberge to make hiita there? If you use ash instead, you can end with the same end board with temple still on field

You're right. I was way too hung up on getting the maximum value out of all my cards and wanting to use Ash's send eff. Sometimes just go for the play even if it doesn't utilize everything you have.

Since Linkuriboh doesn't need to remain on the field/equipped for the Borreload negate to be live, why not send that earlier in combo 1 to retain its utility in the GY?

@MauriziodellePuglie nib is weird because it's laughably bad on its own, but if you pair it with another hand trap it's decent. Obviously literally all of these combos show case how nib is a non-issue, but I've won games out right by stopping poplar from searching field, and then Nibbing after they've already used Flamberge GY eff. The math on 12 hand traps opening nib + another is somewhere in the ballpark of 27%. Then the math of opening a 1 card starter when you play 12 of them is in the ballpark of 85%. Winning slightly more than 1/4 of your games outright is worth it.

How are combo 3 & 4 nib proof? Even if you summon flamberge you still use its effect

Because once they nib you, you're able to use the temple to summon flamberge, flamberge can then use it's eff to place IP into the ST Zone. While it's not as oppressive of an end board, you then get to IP on your opps turn into something like SP (or whatever else you might have) which is 2 additional interruptions, AND flamberge activates summoning 2 which are likely going to be ash and oak, getting you a search and another summon. Oak reborns poplar to get you Original which is full follow up, ash can also search another oak or even itself for again, more follow up.

Eff of field spell to summon flamberge, flamberg eff to put IP in ST zone, pass to opponent. On their turn, either field or flamberge summons IP. IP goes into SP, you get SP on summon eff to banish AND flamberge reborn. Summon ash oak. Ash search follow up, oak summon poplar, poplar search more follow up. Still have SP on field eff to banish. 2 guaranteed interruptions, 3 additional monsters on field, 2 searched follow up cards, plus 3-4 other cards in hand.

You would bonfire into poplar and search original sinful. From there send ash to summon oak, oak reborn ash, now both effs to send and summon from deck are live

Vs floo under shifter that ip combo isnt playable. Theyll get to empen before you can activate what you summon off ip. I also like placing another ash over oak since losing oak permanently is pretty bad.

Yes, but you have to consider that unless it's game 2/3 you don't know what they're on, so it's still the better play to make. Even if IP won't be able to resolve, you're now sitting on a bare minimum of 3 monsters, possibly 4 if ash searches pop. You get the guaranteed follow up as well in either the ash search or the pop search. And chances are they're not handling a board of 4 monsters, leaving you plenty of options to continue playing on your next turn. If Empen is the only play, their best bet is to swing over the oak because like you said, it'd be gone permanently under shifter. But then you can very easily on the following turn use the original searched off poplar to summon jet. Go into formula (in defense because empen) get additional resources off the draw, ash eff send itself and IP into flamberge, make a baronne (again def) flamberge recur resources. Baronne pop empen, etc... But if you're in game 2/3 and you KNOW it's floo, you're better off doing the same play with hiita instead of IP because you'll potentially get another search when they clear it. Obvious there's "outs" like if they opened cracked and have the continuous to tribute your stuff etc... but at that point you're just cherry picking the perfect hand which isn't realistic.

Yes, but wasting the 2nd poplar is bad from a follow up standpoint. You'd rather have it in the deck for a later turn.

@SuperInsaiyan18 that's true but my retort would be: 1. Most players don't play birch and playing it means arguably adding a brick 2. OSS can be used on the following turn to recycle one of your Poplar. This is a nitpick either way great vid!

@YGOKingPhil I disagree to birch being a brick. Yes, if you're drawing 1 card from your deck with no other cards in play for hand, sure its not great, but drawing your opening 5, having it as an extender is insane. Plus, since it's a quick eff. If you end your turn with it, you can use it on the opps turn in chain to something like Imperm sending said imperm, get your summon of ash/oak/flamberge/etc... without losing any additional resources

No one is playing that. It's unreasonable to prepare for every card that exists. It's not super polu-able by actually meta relevant cards.

@user-bi6dd4hr4i then il say it too, no one is playing that card. I personally run judgement for all those bullshit cards u cant prepare for. I run super poly in my kash deck but still dont use panzer and its never come up honestly. Midragon does the job 99% of the time. Il take a 1% loss on it lol
