I usually include Kontrol Freek compatibility in the thumb stick section of my reviews. It was left out of the snakebyte review. All of them are very tight, Xbox won’t fit at all without damage, however PlayStation and switch will fit securely with a little force.

Had this controller for about half a month now, and it's by far the best high quality budget controller I've ever used. Like I seriously don't see myself needing a new competitive controller for awhile unless I want to upgrade to a 4 paddle controller. There's just not a lot of budget controllers that offers hall-effect sticks and triggers along with triggers stops to boot besides this one. So I highly recommend it to anyone else here!

For £$60-80 it's a nice controller, i really like the button mapping slider, wouldn't mind if more controllers in the future had that.

I wish the button letters/symbols were black or orange instead of multiple colors. Just kind of clashes with the main black/white/orange color scheme

Got this a few weeks ago and its by far the best controller ive ever used. Actually returned my stealth ultra for this because that controller had horrible grinding with the anti friction rings. If not having 4 back buttons is a deal breaker for you then this controller is not for you. But if you only use 2 back buttons...dont even hesitate just buy this thing and you will not regret it

Hey first off I just want to say I love your controller reviews! Keep up the good work! Now.... I bought this controller and I love it! I bought it right after I watched this review. However within the first 3 days it quit working. It was as if it didn't recognize it was plugged in. Unplugged, replugged, tried different cord, different USB port on Xbox. No problem it happens, I sent it back to Amazon and got another one. It's been great for about 3 weeks.... Now same exact issue 😢. This controller is awesome but I think I'm just going to request a refund. I hope nobody else has this issue. Just wanted to share my experience.

2 Back buttons is a great entry into pro controllers. I thought they were stupid back in the Halo 3 days when diy was the only choice and the melee button was all the rage. My 8bitdo pro2 controller won me over but I like L3 and R3.. I know I'm a weirdo but I prefer my run button not interfere with my aiming. Plus outside of Shooters it comes in more handy than you think.

Okay next update considering my two faulty controllers: It's actually the cables that are trash. When using my phone charging cable or my dualsense cable, the controllers work without any disconnects, even if wiggle them until I can wiggle no more. Change back to the Snakebyte cables, I get disconnects on the slightest movements.

I would imagine this is on sale already for some U.S. exposure. Nobody in the U.S. knows about Snakebyte! Was waiting for you to review this one, wanted to see your stick and response tests. This controller is a bargain for $60. Love it. One thing i have noticed after about 2 months is the right trigger stop has gotten "mushier" at first it felt nice and clicky. Might be wearing in a bit... Thats a bad thing

Gamesir g7 se is by far the best. I bought 4 elite series 2 controller then got this 45 dollar one, had it for 5 months still is perfect.

I still suggest the Rainbow 2 Pro as it is the same price and wireless (though with xbox and PS you have to use a VERY simple workaround), with an extra 4 buttons - 2 back and 2 on top like the Razer controllers. It’s become my preferred controller for FPS.

Great review! But, given how thorough and detail-oriented you are, I'm surprised you didn't mention details about the thumbstick base material and whether it's plastic or metal. From what I can see, it's plastic, and this is my main gripe. For the Gamesir G7 SE, I found that the plastic-on-plastic of the thumbstick rubbing on the friction ring produced an annoying creak so I switched out the thumbstick bases with a metal pair from my old Xbox Elite controller. Unfortunately, as I learned after a few sessions, I don't get full range with those sticks. If I'm sprinting next to someone in multiplayer, they run ever-so-slightly faster than me. My question is, do you think it would be possible to do the same mod to the Snakebyte and still maintain the same range of motion? I know ya got the parts to test, but do ya have the time? If so, I would greatly appreciate it!

I still think the GameSir T4 Kaleid and their Cyclone Pro are the best value out there. The white version of the Pro is my everyday.

so its similar to Gamesir G7 SE. Its both wired controller with 2 back button in which you can remap (G7 SE using Nexus App), Hall Effect thumbstick, anti-friction ring, even same design for the ABXY button (virtually and mechanically) and free xbox gamepass. Only different is that G7 SE are: 1.) has a PC App you can configure the controller to your liking 2.) have replaceable faceplate where you can easily replace the analog thumbstick with any analog thumbstick of your liking. (I replace mine with a Xbox one S); and 3.) 1000hz polling rate (which apparently matters to competitive players) Seems to me Gamesir G7 SE is quite a better option. How I wish G7 SE has a Wireless variant.

After 2 months, mine loses connection all the time, most probably a loose connection on the USB C socket. (I never bend the cable, so I didn't strain it) Seems those 5 years warranty will never be needed. Until then it was really great to use though.

Yo i have a question i bought the 40 dollar version from snakebyte which do not have paddles. Imo the Sticks are feeling a little cheap but my main Problem comes to recoil. If i spray on r6 and control my recoil the gun is jumping kinda down and its really annoying. Has anyone the same Problem? Im general i like the Controller but the sticks somehow not very smooth hope someone can help !
