Setting up New and Improved Turtle Tanks!

6 жыл бұрынIn this video we move our snapping turtle into a huge new enclosure, the stinkpots into a 40-gallon mansion all to themselves, and replace the other turtles' basking platform! Everyone gets an upgrade in this video!
The basking platforms were made out of white egg crate styrene lighting panels cut to size :)
Edit: Wow, lots of interested in a Rex tooth necklace! I'll start putting them together and let you know when they're available!

Watching this again 2 years later, and Chloe has gotten bigger. She not huge, but definitely bigger. Also more surprisingly, Rex has gotten bigger too! Not sure if she’s gotten longer, but has more “chunk” to her now

I miss my snapping turtle 😭 found him in my pool when I was about 12 and he was the friendliest turtle I've ever seen. He would actually let you pet his head then sometimes would stretch his head over his shell so you could pet his throat! But after my parents heard something on the news about they can give you salmonella they got rid of him when I was at school... I was so furious..

your video's are never too lang, I can watch them for hours, your love and concern for these animals make my happy, I was always a little afraid of snakes, but watching your video's makes me more relaxt (except for venomous ones of course). maybe in the future I will think about getting my own snake, but for now I have my other pets (3 dogs and 5 cats) who need my care.
