Man, Medusa is such a tragic character and yet she was so sweet after a while. You really did an amazing job!

I always pictured a story like this with the listener as a veteran warrior who’s sick of the slaughter and his many war crimes weigh upon him. Pictured her lashing out at his foolishness for coming there seeking some kind of end, only to have him whisper “you don’t know, you don’t know what I’ve done.” Maybe broken people can find wholeness together.

I always had a soft spot for Medusa, girl really got fucked over by the gods.

I feel sorry for medusa. no one should go through the same loneliness she did for so long. I speak from experience.

All a Medusa needs is hugs it will warm and melt everything and break walls she built up Something we all need at one point in our lives considering her back story she needs it

I can't help but think our dear Medusa is reliving her trauma at the hands of Poseidon, the feeling of weakness and helplessness, the last touch she'd likely had being one of force. She wished she was strong enough to stop his advances, now fearful but feeling a sense of power to defend herself from being taken advantage of once again But The Cosmic Traveller will do no such thing, His touch only wishes comfort and healing. Her threats are understandable but he will not waver in assisting a wronged soul such as her. She can bite and scratch, but he'll never think of her as a monster.
