Can we stop talking about nerfing Loki? He may be a pain in the arse, but he just is not showing up across the spectrum of players. This is not a, "OMG! Angela is in over 20% of decks.", situation.

Loki is probably in the healthiest place he’s been in a while. There are MANY matchups where he’s unfavored and requires you to get creative with the cards you transform. I do think there are times in certain metas where he can be quite dominant but it’s been a while since we’ve seen that. MMM also will see a resurgence of Loki becomes too dominant and can check the decks power with relative ease. My vote is that he’s fine and should be left untouched. However, I will note that it might be fair to monitor his performance when Arishem comes out.

The way to fix Phastos, imo, is to have him hit your hand as well as your deck. That way he's playable off curve, but still isn't good on the last turn. Maybe knock a power off to compensate for the increased effect.

My off the walls rework of Kang would be: Kang: x/0 on-reveal: reset the board to the previous turn, excluding Kang and unrevealed cards. His cost would be set to your current energy level, including any extra energy you get, which means he always has to be played at maximum cost. I really wanted him to feel like a alternate form of board control similar to Galactus, but without a clear "I win" moment if he goes off. Is it absolutely crazy for him to wipe all progress from an opponents turn in one fell swoop? Absolutely, but it comes at a clear cost for your own progress and is potentially blockable with some tech cards. Would want to be played 2nd since he only affects cards currently revealed on the board for the turn he is played.

I got the impression there wasn't a timing decision for activate. Regardless of when you activate I believe it just happens in the end of turn phase.

My America Chavez rework would be to change her text each month to be meta relevant, to either be sort of synergistic with the season pass or be a much weaker version. That would give pool 3 folks a taste of what could be while limiting their competitive viability.

I completely agree that Makkari's design space requires her to be just below generically good, and I think that's exactly where she is rn. (I think Speed's design also falls into this, btw) If she sees a buff a year or more down the line, I think that'll be a sign of overall power creep escalating in the game. Leave Mak as she is, now and forever!!

Re: Superior variant It’s his octopus outfit from after Superior Spider-Man. IIRC he was working with Hydra at the time cuz it was during Sceret Empire. Immediately afterward he became chill again and went to be a Spider-Man in San Fransisco until the status quo was forcefully restored by Mephisto (again).
