so I see this question all the time, I thought I would put my thoughts out there, let me know what you think!!!
My name is Jermey I am a snap on dealer in central Wisconsin, I love to do these videos to give you a little sneak peak into the snap on life. I appreciate all of your support. I have been a franchisee since 2011. My helper “Tracker” comes to work with me every day. You can see him in the videos from time to time sleeping or what ever working dogs do… he is a blast to have along and the customers love that he greets them every week. Along with Tracker I have an assistant named Jamie that also works Mon-Fri with me. Some times she is on the truck other times she runs our sprinter truck. I hope you like our videos and if you do please subscribe and don’t ever be afraid to comment. Thank you once again!!!
Email contact: haasltools@gmail.com
I don’t sell any thing from you tube, I am only here to provide a better look at the behind the scene. I do not get paid from snap on for these videos. I do this just because I love to share the experiences I have as a dealer.
Thank you again!!!

84" EPIQ with power bank everything I need, will last my lifetime and my son's as well. I am using some my grandfather's and dad's Snap On, quality tools require $$ however the durability and repairing is worth every dime to me.

People will gladly spend $5-$8 on energy drinks, $7 a pack of cigs x2 or more, liquor/alcohol then $1000+ on cell phones, along $12 a day on lunch... YOU add all of that up it is HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS a month down the toilet!

Little late to this video but have recently found your channel and subscibed.. Love the Epiq so much but its out of my price range since I'm only a hobbyist for mechanics at home.. My snap-on guy i use had a used KRL722 on the truck one day and got me!. Traded in my mac roller for $500 bucks and got the KRL for a really great price. Love it so much and don't regret spending the money for a nice box that I'll have for a long time! Anyone that trashes a snap on box has just never used one. keep on truckin'! Love the videos!

I like the Epiq box more then the master. Yes some type of film for all the scratches...they should also bring back the power cabinet as a option for both boxed. I feel that the drawers are not big enough. Specially if you have alot of power tools. (You can send my comment to corporate) Hope you have a good new year and cant wait for that tool show.

I bought a 68” epiq, wanted to downsize a bit, I ran out of room, bought a hutch thinking it would solve my issue, nope, ordered a power locker, we are so close to being able to put all my tools away, ordered another power locker, finally, all tools and tool bags are stored and locked up, so much for downsizing, looks badass though, no payments but 1. Negotiated a price with my tool guy, I know he has to make money too, but there is room to deal a little, amazing what you can accomplish with a couple stacks of 100’s.

I can give my personal input. I just moved up to an Epiq 84" from a Master KRL7023. 1023 is just a little taller, adding a couple drawers. Just going to say, I'm glad I went with the Epiq. It's better built and heavier all the way through. I got the 2 bank as well so I have the right bank all long drawers because I had a 2 bank classic 96 and loved the long drawer box. Even the short drawers are longer than most. My main decider was the fact that the master series has too many shallow drawers. Yes, lots of square inches if all you have is plyers and wrenches but that's not for the modern technician. My epiq only has one long shallow drawer and one drawer on the top that is shallow. The rest are surprisingly deep.

#1 .... NO SHIT!! #2 ....... If you're writing a check/paying cash and can afford to pay as much for a toolbox that many do for a small car, then by all means go for it. But to get hooked into usury rates by financing these damned things is just so far from logical reality that it again begs the question ...... WHY?? #3 ...... EGO ........ it gets the best of many who learn to late that ego is the anesthetic that numbs the thought processes making one feel good in the short run, only to find out the pain will be felt long, long after one gets over him or herself. 😧😧😧

@Mason Ringbinder - the only people these distributors have to convince are the Snap-On fan boys. There are enough of them out there willing to shell out this kind of money to keep them in business. I totally agree- this is INSANE money to spend on a tool chest. The sad part is that probably 98% of people buying these things are financing them at interest rates up to 20%. I paid just under $600 for my Milwaukee tool chest. It holds my tools just as effectively as a comparable Snap-On box that would easily cost 3-4K.

Someone needs to get multiple tool boxes, remove the badges and anything that shows the name and have mechanics and people in the trade use them or test them, etc to see if they can make out any difference. There would be an initial test then a long term test. It could truly prove if these high price brands are worth it I would do this experiment but I don’t have those funds nor am i in the trade where these high grade tools are most commonly used

I would buy snapon if I had to get in my tool box 8 hours a day 5-7 days a week, and it lasted me a lifetime. Then I would have no problem spending 30k

I think a better comparison would be a $/sq in rather than a 72 vs 68" etc.

FYI: Classic 72 (KRA2423) $0.81/sqin. Masters 72 (KRL7023) $1.01/sqin. EPIQ 84 (KERP843) $1.01/sqin

Things like the impacts and stuff like that may be worth the money and never break but when it comes to a box just go to harbor freight, you can get a big ass one for $1000 and you could even use a coupon for 20% off I mean it's a fucking tool box, it's not like it'll collapse under the weight, the only thing I can think of is low quality wheels and not the best drawer bearings and even it has bad wheels you could get some cheap ones from Home Depot and have better wheels than when you started

Snap on is outta their damn minds! There are many ways to go when buying any equipment and i suppose if you have 13 grand to throw down on 1 box then good for you but everyone knows you are paying for the brand and not the content, its a nice box but at the end of the day its a box ! 13000???? No thank lol i will buy a box that is nicer than anything i will ever need and put the other 10 grand in the bank . Seriously 13 mutha fuggin thousand??? For a tool box ???? Woooooow.

I’m not paying 10-15k for a box that’s not going to move and hold my tools lmao

Jeremy, if I was in charge of tool box design, sales etc. I would institute a program similar to Trek bicycles' Project One program, and make these boxes a bit more modular, and able to be custom built online by the end user, as far as drawer size and placement and other variables, all within reason of course, based on the framework and dimensions of an existing box.
