You should lift your truck another foot to make loading and unloading easier.

snap on boxes are much heaver than you may think. that's a great job for one person and an improvised ramp! Or very lucky.

considering trucks sits high, mash of boards held by a bungee, tool chest probably filled with tools and drawers opening, camera lady fiing instead of helping and not getting crushed, mame killed or minimum tool chest spilling over, all this considered you are my heroe. 👏👍

Dude that wasn't a fail. I wanted to see a snap on chest get wrecked lol. Quick tip. Buy a cheap little stock S-10 truck for loads like this, washers, dryers, refrigerators etc. Those trucks are low to the ground and when backed up off a curb an open tailgate literally sits about 7-8 inches to the ground. You don't even need a ramp to unload stuff

It gives me anxiety to see someone who earns a living turning wrenches lose their expensive cart. Usually people are switching shops when unloading a tool cart so not a fun time to have a fail. Not a fail at all though. Well done

You should hire a flatbed wrecker to move a snap-on tool box, let the tow company insure it.
@brianmason84006 ай бұрын
I speak from experience.....MOST tow companies make you sign a COMPLETE WAIVER of all responsibility BEFORE they'll even look at your tool box. PLUS they make you check and double check their tie downs further relieving them of responsibility.
@johnmartin20796 ай бұрын
I call bulshit I've had mine moved all over FL I wouldn't sign any paper ,never have or will I don't check the tie downs driver does he don't want the box hitting the car behind the tow truck
@brianmason84006 ай бұрын
@@johnmartin2079......my apologies, I wasn't trying to start anything. And quite possibly there's big differences between where we live. I've had my boxes moved multiple times by flatbeds and have had to sign every single time. Now granted, if something actually happened, and it goes to court, here in Mo. the final responsibilities come down to the truck driver. But me personally, I never minded checking tie downs bc I was a truck driver.

Brian Mason 8400 all good brother that's what comments is for, and if anyone who has a box like what were talking about has a say so as well. These boxes hold or livelihood.

@@johnmartin2079..... you're absolutely correct. My bottom box is similar to the one in the video, but mine is 6 feet long. And YES, it does hold our livelihood....

nice box! Just a tip, get a few bungee cords and wrap them around the two ends and the middle to stop the drawers from opening. Or just lock the drawers shut. Either way good work!
