Oh , come on cory, you have Hanna, she will help you don't give up. They still make steel, you can handle it.

I agree, and realize iy is probably gone, but that snap-on side panel would make great garage art.

As a Snap-On Dealer in one of my previous life iterations, I was really hoping you could resurrect this, but, to be brutally honest...I'm sorry to say you had zero chance. I salute you for wanting to try to bring it back, but, you were given nothing to work with. "Someone" had made sure you did not have a solid platform to start with. In regard to the wood dash? My late 80's Snap-On truck "did" have a wood "display dash" and it was fantastic for the purpose for it was intended. From my experiences, the majority of the "new" Snap-On trucks have a Cab and Chassis approach instead of the "Van" approach, so I think that pretty well covers the lack of wood dashes in today's Snap-On Truck iteration. Sorry to see it go the way it "had" to go, but you did the right thing!! You were basically left with no other choice.

As tough of a decision it was, it was the right one.

I don't mean to tell you how to do your job but I'd go on the inside with some slightly thicker 10 and fix those parts together to where it would hold better wouldn't take a whole lot light welding to hold it together then you can take and get a little Bondo in those bad spots anything is possible or take some of the body panels from that white van you went and picked up and use that and fix it on the inside whatever you've got the extra material use it

in the days of one or two phones in a house,, people used to jump over everything to get to the phone. this can be applied with many THINGS,,,,, this one is.... YOU own the phone, it doesn't own you

Keep the front clip and rear fenders. Then at a later date. Just use new medal and rebuild it That’s my opinion

Best decision, would be cool. But sometimes you won’t to step away.

What you could have done is watch some similar projects on the KZfaq about rebuilding rusty body panels, like Fitzee's Fabrications. Then you could have watched some folks rebuild similar vans. Like the guys from Turnin' Rust. Fitzee has used rusted out body panels as the model to copy in new steel. Then there is Chad Hiltz of the Bad Chad channel. He and his wife Jolene take apart vintage rustbuckets, and custonm build new vehicles. They recently finished a 1935 Chevy 4 door sedan to pickup truck conversion. You've gotta see it!

You can't save 'em all brother. Salvage the panels that have the logos on them and let the remainder "rust in peace" 😢 Your salvation cane too late.
