If this had come out in the mid 80s, I'd have been all over these. I think I need to buy them... All of them... maybe multiples... I'd seen these once before, and I wasnt sure how good they are. Thank you for reviewing them. I'm sold now.

This one reminds me of the Legos Hero Factory Drop ship set from it’s first wave. Took me awhile to put it together, but it was cool.

The thing I like about Snap Ships is, the more sets you get, the greater the "playability" becomes with each additional set. With any luck, to ring in the new year, I will look to get Gladius, the Faux vs. Wasp battle set, and the Scythe tank (which will balance out the FORGE side of the checklist)

I would use a thick small piece of cloth. A dry wash cloth works ok. Between thumb and sharp and pointy bits. Thumb approved 👍.

Shopping at meijer earlier today, saw snap ships on a rack, 50% off all of them, I bought a sawfly and locust for $5 each, and a saber for $7.50. Best impulse buy in a long time

8:04 I watched a video with one of the guys that invented Snap Ships, and I guess that the very first batch of kits that went out did have some defective parts in them... but they quickly discovered and fixed their mistake.

I wish I could remember what the name was, but there was a series of toys pretty much dealing with building ships and vehicles in different ways or as the directions shown. Some of the parts even could glow. Some of the parts were a pain to separate, but all in all they were pretty neat and of course came with pilots. They actually were done better than the ones for these sets. Could move the legs and the arms and even sit them into the cock pits. I wish I could remember the name of the series of toys as well I honestly no longer have the one I had. I think it was set back in the 90's or late 90's. Not sure if there ever was a tv series or if it was just toys.
