Күн бұрынWe were chasing our first snapper for the season. Headed out from Carrum at 4am. We had to fight through the small fish, wind against tide, heaps of other boats, but finally the BIGGER fishes came out to play.

Cannot believe you don't like braid .. I run braid on all my snapper and gummy combos .

This has been my worst snapper season ever. Sounded heaps and heaps of big arches, threw everything at them, fresh silver whiting, day caught squid pillies kgw heads, best I've pulled in was a 50cm. Usually by now I'd be given snapper away to friends of friends cuz of the freezer being so full. 🤷. Moving on to the kgw very soon
