Snapper Lawn mower repair. clean carberator and checked it over.

This Snapper would not start so I go through the steps to figure out why. I show how to clean the carborator up to get it to run.
The air filter was found on Amazon under Rotary part number 1397

I have several customers who still using these older mowers and I even put a new short block on one last year, he had bought it 10 years ago just in case he needed it 😊😊😊 Smart older folks

Nice informative video. Audio was good on this one. Also glad to see use of tripod to avoid fingers covering the lense.

Yes I was using a wireless mic for the complete shoot. Trying to do better with sound. The new tripod also helped.

Thanks for this sir. Just recued this exact mower that has been buried in my grandmothers garage for 25 years. I can't remember why we parked it but im fixing to finda out. Well after 2 rear tires fuel line , filter and the filter you needed thanks again for that and a battery. My carb bowl had a half inch of black junk in it so ill probably be doing the same thing you did there.

My brother just gave me a mower just like that..yep carburetor was filthy ..he got this one from a neighbor who was moving and he gave it to him..I've got it running put a new blade on it aired up the tires ..the rear are going have to be replaced dry rotted ..it cuts fine like a golf course..I'm going to disassemble and re paint it to make look like new..I've already done the wheels..👍👍👍👍

TIP: You can lengthen that fuel line where you can sit that tank ON the floor even while setting the mower on the bumpers

Thank you for your video on your mower you was working on I have the same type and that's what I wanted to see where that little spring went behind that throttle plate seems to be giving me a problem you kind of let me sit in a different light in this is very good thank you much good job

Most riding mowers use a universal key. That is going to be tuff one. I had a hard time finding the air filter for it. You might have to do some engineering of one you can find to make it fit. Good luck with it.

I’ve had good luck with Miami Sales - they are helpful & can order all the snapper parts I’ve needed, including the air filter. Hope this helps others

SOMEBODY needs to CLONE these B&S L head ( flat head ) engines ! I'd buy 20 off the bat
