► Embroidery Machine - To do this in a single hooping, you'll need at least a 9x12 hoop. It can be done with a 6x10 hoop using multiple hoopings and then some of the larger applique pieces will need to be stitched with a domestic sewing machine. ( OOPS Messed that up, here is the corrected How to fix the A) In Embrilliance -> highlight the two broken pieces. then click Create / outline / connect lines. Then highlight the center of the A and outer part of the A click create / outline / combine holes. Now you have one whole A I like to check to make sure it is also closed by checking the open / closed outline button.

In canvas you can move the 2 pieces of the center of the A apart an delete the one that is not whole.

Combining holes is the way to go, but just for future reference, you can go to "edit", "group", "ungroup". Here though and on anything with a hole, say a face etc you can combine holes.

I tried that, but it wasn’t possible because the lines were too far apart.

It worked for me using “group” but I’m not sure of what I did exactly. I just kept poking around and all of a sudden when I clicked on “group “ it worked. The 15 times before that it didn’t. Go figure, lol.

i found with the a if i restructured the outline it got weird like yours but when i didnt do that the a was fine.

u can also in canvas highlight the o both inner and outer and click edit subtract and it takes out the hole and makes it one piece

In stitch artist 3 there is a button that will union the letters inside and out together. You highlight the A out and A inside the hit the union button then they are one. You will have to delete the single pieces afterwards.

Hmmm…I am SNC challenged. I have the same machine as you, Becky, but I can’t figure out how to save to the cloud (even tho my machine is registered) and I don’t have the “regions” button like you do. Love all your videos! They are so helpful!
