The snareweight is definitely the superior way of dampening, however your drums don't need it! They sound awesome!

Hey Brandon, I love your videos! Super inspiring and I love your heart and attitude not only towards drums but life in general. I have a question though. I've been playing drums for awhile (about ten years) and I'm getting really frustrated to the point of quitting. I can't seem to translate "information" - rudiments and study in percussion into "inspiration" creativity, flow and overall just taking ideas and building upon them. I don't know if my question makes sense but I was wondering if you could possibly do a video or even just a response to this comment would amazing! Hope all is well! Thanks!
